I went today with my son and it was one of the few places in the center of Assisi that didn't seem like a tourist trap... it actually was like that!! the text pizza with cured meats is excellent!

Welcoming environment, Torta al Testo with phenomenal capocollo! Kind and honest owner, not crowded (near August bank holiday). Spent around €10 each for cake and drink.

Eat, drink, love... There couldn't be a more appropriate name for this place! A small space where you can eat a quick meal, very clean, well-kept and with a modern design where you can enjoy an excellent torte al testo and fill it with a selection of really good local cured meats and cheeses. The deer salami is highly recommended! You can drink good wine, or choose from a selection of excellent craft beers. But the real strong point of the place is Lucia, the owner. It's impossible not to "fall in love" with her eyes and her smile when she welcomes you with her overwhelming spontaneity that makes you feel like you've known her forever, even if it's the first time you've seen her! In reality you come in to stay only long enough for a quick snack, but in the end you never want to leave... Eat, drink, love...

Had a stop over in Assi on the way to Florance. We were looking for something for a quick lunch. Well we did!!! Had wonderful porchetta on home made focaccia! Also bought owners father's Olive Oil. Owner was super nice. If you are in Assi GO enjoy this great little spot!

27/11/2024: Ottimo assortimento di prodotti di qualità anche locali. Grande gentilezza e professionalità dagli addetti. Consumo sul posto oltre che per l'asporto. Senz'altro da visitare per chi cerca un angolo di paradiso del gusto.
04/09/2024: Intrigued by the quality and quantity of the too good to go surprise boxes, my girlfriend and I decided to stop for an aperitif! Ingredients of excellent quality, variety and quantity. Two glasses, one of red wine and one of prosecco, both very good and plentiful! The aperitif, practically aperitif given the quantities, at the price of €29. Recommended if you don't want the usual standard cutting board.

29/12/2024: From 12/24/2024 to 12/27/2024 - Family of 4 people. Owners, Alberto, Stefania and the little dog Milù, extremely welcoming and helpful. Family environment, clean and quiet. Excellent location for visiting the most famous places in Umbria. Well organised, plentiful and very good Christmas lunch. Highly recommended for peace, tranquility, homemade breakfasts and an excellent location.
20/11/2024: we were their guests for a day on a short weekend with a camper in the lands of San Francesco... welcomed familiarly by the very nice owner, Mr. Alberto who explained to us the meticulous restoration of the farmhouse brought back to its ancient medieval splendor..... small and comfortable rest area with electricity connection and possibility of loading and unloading water.... we booked for dinner and were struck by the kindness of the cook who offered us a gastronomic tour of local specialties revisited with delicacy and skill.... and to finish in the morning a fabulous breakfast... p.s. we purchased a can of oil produced by them which we had enjoyed at dinner on pieces of bread..... a heartfelt thank you with the certainty of a soon return... to Majora
