Excellent rotisserie with outdoor seating (covered by awning)... The food is good and genuine, the prices are very fair for the area and the service is simple but efficient... You shouldn't expect a three Michelin star restaurant but simple and homely cooking for a quick and satisfying meal. You can eat on site or take away the food

I haven't been since 2007, when I was 11 and my parents stopped taking family vacations in Puglia. Now I'm almost 30, I live in Canada and when I think of a good pizza I still always think of yours first. It's a relief to know you're still open, sooner or later I'll be able to come back.

We were at this place on June 2nd. Covered outdoor space. We had a vegetable appetizer (good), 2 orecchiette with turnip tops (good quality orecchiette but the dish was tasteless), 2 fish skewers (decent). Quite disappointed. A free pack of homemade orecchiette.

What can I say? All the flavor of homemade Apulian pasta, and that alone would be amazing, but all the other dishes are equally as delicious. A trip to Mamma Checca remains an absolute must when in Lido.

28/03/2025: Solid coffee and a quiet place to take a break Sarnia at the mall is a good option when you need a break from shopping. The coffee is strong and aromatic (Italian standard!), and the offer also includes quite good sweet snacks. Affordable prices (1-10€), although the atmosphere is a bit "commercial" - after all, it is part of the gallery. A plus is the possibility of eating on site, takeaway or delivery. It works well as a quick stop, not a destination in itself. Efficient service. For whom? If you're looking for a place to grab an espresso on the go When you want to avoid crowded cafes in the city center When you need solid, simple food with no surprises PS: Their croissant with Nutella is a nice boost of energy before further shopping.

11/08/2025: We stayed at this beach in August, and despite the season, it was always very well-organized. We had a really good time, and the owners were truly kind and helpful. The only flaw was the restaurant. One day, we decided to have lunch there. We were two adults and a 21-month-old child. We decided to have cod on a bed of potatoes (that's what the menu said) and a mixed fried fish. We didn't order anything for the child, as he would have eaten what we were going to have. The waitress came over, we ordered, and then asked us what the child was going to have. We replied that he was going to have something with us for various reasons I won't go into here. She looked at us strangely, so much so that she convinced us to order a half portion of farfalle with tomato sauce. The food arrived: the cod was three tiny pieces that were more batter than fish, the potato bed mentioned on the menu was barely two tablespoons of mashed potatoes, the mixed fried fish consisted of two frozen shrimp (again), and the rest was a bit of calamari and octopus, but it was really paltry. My son practically left the half-portion of farfalle with tomato sauce (which is why I didn't want to order it), and last but not least, it all came to a whopping €38! We woke up feeling hungry. Maybe it's because we're from Emilia-Romagna, and when we go to the beach for dinner, €40 fills you up and you eat good, fresh food. It's a real shame because the beach is very nice, with showers, a foot shower, convenient parking, and a beach that's not too long and therefore not too crowded, but the restaurant needs rethinking.
24/07/2025: Convenient and quiet. €3 per day for the parking meter. €8 for half a day for an umbrella, deckchair, and sunbed. You can also grab a quick bite to eat, with a nice salad. The owner and the staff are very friendly. Thank you very much. 👍
