Mammà In Pozzuoli

It's become our home; we dine there at least once a week with the family. The dishes are generous and flavorful, and the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff makes dinner a true treat. They truly pay attention to every detail. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I recommend ordering the tiramisu because it's delicious.

A great discovery, even the smells of the dishes they prepare take you back to the past, to when your grandmother and mother prepared lunch and dinner with identical flavors. Everything was good, excellent service, and a quaint, meticulously maintained restaurant with the passion of someone who cares about their customers as if they were their own children. An experience worth trying.

At Mammà, you immediately feel an authentic and welcoming atmosphere, just like being at home. The cuisine is classic Neapolitan (with a few reinterpretations), made of authentic flavors, hearty dishes, and recipes prepared according to tradition. Eating here was truly like sitting at my mother's table: you feel pampered, satisfied, and happy. The staff is top-notch, attentive yet welcoming and friendly.

Few restaurants can boast such quality and originality (look at the photos; the pasta and potatoes served that way are mouth-watering, even if you've just come from grandma's kitchen). I'm not a local, but every time I return to Pozzuoli, I can't help but eat there. I've tried almost the entire menu; you should too: you'll be greeted by smiling staff who can't wait to make you feel at home.

What can I say? The owner is friendly, welcoming, kind, and attentive to his customers, and knows how to give excellent advice. At the end of the meal, he gave us a complimentary tiramisu served in a moka pot—delicious. The Genovese was fantastic, and the scialatielli were excellent. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Thank you!

What a wonderful discovery this evening for my partner and I! And to say that we changed our destination at the last minute, and I'd say LUCKILY so! We'd heard good things about this place, but we didn't imagine we'd truly enjoy it. Starting with the very welcoming atmosphere, which is also pleasing to the eye, it truly felt like home, with a truly unique style. We were welcomed by a husband and wife team, two truly genuine people with a kindness that is not at all predictable! From the first minute, they put us at ease, extremely friendly and affable! They immediately presented us with their menu, which I must say is vast. To fully enjoy their cuisine, we immediately ordered pasta and potatoes and a scialatiello with cherry tomatoes, eggplant, and stracciata. Both arrived plated with a touch of imagination that never hurts, but above all, made with so much love! Absolutely delicious! A MUST TRY! All accompanied by an excellent sparkling red wine that pairs perfectly. We wanted to try so much more, but the portions were so generous we couldn't take it anymore! 😭 But we couldn't finish without trying their desserts! So we ordered a lemon caprese (I confess, I'M IN LOVE WITH IT! 🤤). It's a tiramisu I'd never tried before, made this way—light but delicious. And, again, because the eye wants its part, it was served in a coffee maker, which made everything even more appetizing! And lastly, to accompany dessert, there were delicious "digestives" available (on the house), including an excellent meloncello. Thus concluded our first experience/dinner at Mammà! It was truly worth every single penny because, above all, we found quality! WE HAVE FOUND HOME! 😉 We'll definitely see you again! THANK YOU!
