The food and Sushi was outstanding! Its a very modern restaurant that is an change to all the italian based places in neaples. Service could be improved and the ambiete was a bit cold. We tried to reserve via phone which was not working at all. If you are looking for some high quality sushi and are willing to pay the price you will find that forsure.

What a gorgeous Japanese (fused with a touch of Italian) restaurant this is! Modern, serene, cosy and run by the star of the show, Mame Ostrichina herself: Monica. Making all of the food fresh and from scratch, you can watch her roll your sushi through the open kitchen's glass walls. And what sushi it is! We were a vegan and non-vegan couple, and my Parmigiana Sushi was so good I devoured all eight pieces faster than would be considered polite. As did my partner with her non-vegan selection. Speaking of Japanese-Italian fusion, the vegan arincine (made with sushi rice) came with the most amazing cashew cream we've ever tasted. In hands this good, I had to try the Japanese cabbage pizza, which was an explosion of savoury and umami goodness. This was the best - and best priced - meal we had in Italy - Mame Ostrichina should be listed in Michelin Guide ASAP!

A little sushi gem in the Spanish Quarter! Mame Ostrichina is a real discovery: a place where sushi becomes a sensory and human experience. We chose the 8-roll vegan option: each piece is a surprise, a perfect balance of tastes and consistencies, never banal. (Obviously, we also enjoyed other things!) The place is well-kept, welcoming and full of atmosphere. But the real added value is Monica, the owner: she welcomed us warmly and pampered us with her cuisine made with the heart. Meeting her was a gift: a sincere, deep and kind soul who manages to convey all her passion in every dish. An experience to live and to recommend. We will definitely return.

Service was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful and the food was prepared with care. You can tell food is a passion here! We had Vegan PATACONES (Fried plantain with sauces), SUSHI VEGAN URAMAKI MIX, and SPAGHETTI FJUTI NERANO STYLE (Spiralized Zucchini with Vegan Pesto and Almond Cashew Cheese). Everything was truly amazing, not only the best food in Italy, the best food I've had anywhere!

We found this gem completely by chance while searching for vegan options nearby, and I’m so glad we did. We didn’t have a reservation, but the owner welcomed us in with such kindness. We had a few dishes in mind, but she gently suggested switching a couple of things based on flavor pairings, and wow… she absolutely nailed it. Every single bite was incredible. We left so full, but honestly just happy and grateful. The space itself is beautiful, especially the downstairs area, which has such a unique and cozy vibe. You can tell so much thought and care went into every detail, from the food to the atmosphere. Wishing her all the success in the world. She’s created something truly special here, and I can't wait to come back!
