Mame Ostrichina In Napoli

When in Naples, make sure one of your meals is at Mame Ostrichina. Came here with family, we tried the Spicy Tuna Roll, the Spicy Mango Roll and the Uramaki Vegetarian Hot Rolls. Every one of these was superb. Kudos to the owner for boldly experimenting and fusing together Japanese and local food.

I've eaten here twice, both times the food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The hot rolls are a must, deep fried sushi is unique and as delicious as it sounds. Service is friendly and prompt. Well priced for the high quality.

Growing tired of eating Italian, we decided to give Japanese a try. So glad we found this restaurant! You will first notice the atmosphere. Very nice! We were greeted warmly by the host/owner. She also makes the sushi rolls herself. They were fresh, creative and delicious! My favorite was the tempura mista with her homemade hummus. Sounds unusual to have hummus with tempura, but it works. Especially how she makes it. I also had a very nice strawberry mimosa with a tasty frozen strawberry! If you like Japanese, give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic food and delicious wine. We watched everything being freshly prepared, carefully and precisely. A beautiful, minimalist and tranquil space. Perfect service, very friendly. Highly recommended!
