Great location, extremely polite staff, the food is above average and definitely worth the price. I can definitely recommend it.

My roommate and I were looking for more of a sit down breakfast spot and decided on Mamas Bakery as our first choice. Overall, I think you have to take this place for what it is: an American bakery with American food, a Nespresso machine for coffee, plastic tables and simple wall art. This being said, it was a pretty good spot for breakfast. There was nothing fundamentally bad about it, but the whole experience was an "okay" for me. The place was very quiet when we walked in and there was a beautiful view of a garden in the seating area. My roommate got the avocado toast which was delicious, but my Brie sandwich was not as good as I would've hoped. As for the coffee, I really can't go back to American coffee after tasting Italian cappuccinos. Mamas Bakery is a great place if you're looking for a quiet breakfast or snack, but maybe not if you're looking for the authentic Florence experience.

Cute place! Perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch or snack: welcoming atmosphere, also thanks to the very kind owners, with tables both inside and in the outdoor garden, perfect for relaxing or studying (there is excellent soundproofing compared to the rest of the city) . We took two stuffed bagels (well filled with artisan bread), a cupcake and a cheesecake, all really delicious. The prices are fair and there is a wide choice, both savory and sweet, even with vegetarian/vegan options. Super recommended!
