If you are looking for a delicious meal with incredible service in the heart of Lecco look no further! Upon arriving,my Fiance and I were immediately greeted by the owner who welcomed us into his restaurant with a huge smile on his face. The warm hospitality and immaculate service is incredible, and the food is even better. We started with the oysters, had the Paccheri ai Gamberi con pesto di Pistacchio di Bronte e pomodorini confit and Fettucine al ragu di polpo. Each meal was delicious and all paired incredibly well with the bottle of wine that was recommended to us. Trust their recommendations!! The staff is amazing and will not lead you wrong. We chose Mamaioa Bistrot for my birthday eve dinner, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment we sat down, the service was the absolute best—attentive, friendly, and truly made the evening feel special. You can tell this is a family-run business because of the warmth and personal touch in every detail. ​For our main course, we ordered the Chef's special branzino, and it was the star of the show. Weighing an impressive 1.2 kgs, the fish was cooked perfectly in a stunning Mediterranean style with capers, fresh tomatoes, and olives. Every bite was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. ​Paired with a lovely bottle of wine and their fresh-baked bread, it was an impeccable dining experience. We highly recommend Mamaioa Bistrot for an unforgettable meal and truly outstanding service.

We had a realy delicious fish. The service was excellent and of a very high standard. The staff was kind and considerate, and we will definitely come back on our next visit.

A very pleasant experience; we shared a truly delicious octopus appetizer. Two first courses: spaghetti with clams and bottarga, and paccheri with shrimp and pistachios. The paccheri were truly exquisite. Excellent service, Lela and Irene very professional and courteous. Recommended for an excellent seafood dinner.

The food was amazing. We especially loved the seafood pasta which was al dente and cooked in an extremely flavourful sauce, as well as the grilled octopus which was very fresh and grilled just right. The restaurant also uses very tasty cherry tomatoes in its dishes, and high-quality olive oil. The business lunch set is of great value as you can choose 2 courses (including the grilled octopus) for 29 euros, with a glass of wine, water, and coffee included. Portion sizes were very generous for the price. We also really appreciated that they gave us 3 cookies to complement the coffee, even though only 2 out of 3 of us ordered the business lunch set. Service was excellent - staff were very helpful and prompt in attending to us. Food was served fairly quickly. Highly recommend!

Excellent food, very fresh fish. Service not up to par with the location and price. For three of us (two adults and our 12-year-old daughter): 1 seared octopus, 1 escarole, 1 linguine with lobster, 1 fresh sea bass (1.4 kg) in salt, two glasses of prosecco, three glasses of water, and two coffees. €198: very high (the catch was €98), but it's fair for the quality of the food. Obviously, the service should be up to par, but it wasn't: it was difficult to interact with the waiters (after asking for it three times, I had to wait about 15 minutes for the lobster... so much so that by then the lobster was cold), and there was even a loud argument between them: very unpleasant to hear for those seeking relaxation and paying dearly for it. The price is fine, considering the quality of the food and the dinner in the square, but the service needs to be much more professional, attentive, and present. In previous dinners inside the restaurant, rather than in the square, the service had been better. The outdoor dining experience and the distance from the restaurant are likely a source of stress.

Esperienza unica! Personale cordiale, professionale e attentissimo ai dettagli. La nostra cameriera era una vera esperta di pesce e ci ha aiutato a scegliere i piatti migliori. Pesce freschissimo e di alta qualità. Anche la carne davvero buona. Location molto bella sia all’interno che all’esterno con i tavoli sul lago. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Anche questa volta abbiamo cenato benissimo, ottima l'orata al sale (pescato del giorno) freschissima e ottima, da provare
