A review in two parts. We ate there two nights in a row... with COMPLETELY mixed results. Day 1, Friday. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we still managed to get a wonderful spot. The menu and wine list looked excellent. "Pizza or a la carte" was the question. We didn't know yet. We were shown a photo of the catch of the day. Our son went for the tuna, and we went for the catch of the day. The oysters as a starter were delicious, although it's more convenient if the kitchen just pops the oysters open and you don't have to do it yourself. The wine was delicious. Then the main courses. Our son's tuna was fantastic. Our fish, filleted at the table, was also absolutely delicious, as was the accompanying sauce. Dessert wasn't that exciting, as was the mediocre limoncello. But then the bill... they charged a whopping 50 euros per person for the fish. Exorbitant. Mentioning it beforehand seems rather reasonable at these prices! 5 stars on the first evening, -1 for the absurd price. In good spirits, we went again on the second evening (Saturday). We got a table, but this time on the other side, under an awning among the large groups. The catch of the day wasn't discussed at all. This time we decided to go for the pizza. That was a remarkable experience. My son's pizza Mama was exceptionally good. A true masterpiece. My wife's pizza (San Daniella) was decent. But my pizza was simply terrible. (Sicilia) soft crust, not fully cooked, and the toppings were unrecognizable. One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. And that in Italy... Given the very noisy surroundings, we left quickly. What a world of difference these two evenings made.

A great spot on the beach with wonderful service and superb food. We got there a little early and they still served us; very impressive.
