Mama Sea Ristorante In Aci castello

Lovely restaurant just across the road from the Sheraton hotel. We ate there twice this weekend and the staff were lovely and the food amazing. Highly recommended. Would love to visit in the summer so we could take in the scenery but still a nice atmosphere at night.

I visited this restaurant while staying at the Sheraton Hotel, which is conveniently located just across the road. The atmosphere is cozy, and they offer a wide selection of dishes, including an impressive variety of pizzas. Prices are quite high, but reflects the quality of the food. I tried the gourmet pizza with swordfish and burrata, and it was absolutely delicious—one of the tastiest pizzas I’ve ever had! The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was excellent. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

The place is very good, the coffee delicious and the pastries exquisite. The service is also very good. To keep in mind: next to the sea there is wind, if you choose to sit inside, stay away from the doors because people come and go and don't close them (it makes you cold and things get blown away). The bathroom could be cleaner and stocked, there was a lack of toilet paper.

E’ da qualche anno che frequento il Mamasea e devo dire che è il mio posto del cuore, soprattutto d’inverno perché è uno dei pochissimi locali sul mare con un atmosfera unica, accogliente e rilassante. Il personale sempre sorridente e disponibile, soprattutto Francesco che stasera mi ha consigliato un ottima pinsa con pesce spada, spettacolare! Consigliato soprattutto a chi vuole scappare dal caos del sabato sera del centro di Catania! A presto!
