31/12/2024: We arrived expecting a typical trattoria, but instead, we found ourselves at a charming locanda nestled in the heart of a vineyard. Two majestic olive trees stood just outside the main building, greeting the lucky visitors. The place is absolutely stunning—a beautiful casale in the Veronese countryside, elegant yet full of character. While we didn’t get to see the view since we visited on a winter night, I can only imagine how breathtaking it must be. The food is delicious, though it can be a bit pricey, especially with seasonal specialties and steaks. But every bite was worth it! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain every dish to me, a rather picky eater. There were kids around, but the atmosphere inside was still calm and peaceful. Some dishes were prepared right in front of us, which added an interesting touch. The only thing I wished for was a quicker coffee service since we were on a tight schedule, but as with any good Italian meal, it’s best enjoyed slowly. Looking forward to coming back again soon! B
