Malga TRAURE In San zeno di montagna

The day before yesterday afternoon, we waited for four hours at Malga Traure for a tow truck after a flat tire (note: the road to the Due Pozze hiking car park is very narrow and bumpy!). We experienced so much kindness and support! From sympathy to delicious paninis to an offer of a ride to Zeno. While we waited, we sampled the ricotta from the in-house cheese dairy with wild berries, which we thoroughly enjoyed. As annoying as a car breakdown and waiting for a tow truck is, we were incredibly lucky to be able to wait in this extremely friendly place with the beautiful view of Lake Garda! Thanks to the entire team!

A beautiful mountain hut with a breathtaking view of the lake. Accessible by car, we had lunch (first course, second course, dessert, and coffee), all delicious, cooked by them. They are very kind and helpful, and we also ordered cheese and honey. Prices are in line with local mountain huts.

Simply wonderful – anyone looking for a quiet, rustic atmosphere and heart and soul will definitely find it here. It's a place where you can unwind and take a break from the world. We went there for a glass of wine during a mountain bike tour – and we'll definitely be back one of these days. The friendliness and openness are definitely worth mentioning – thank you very much!

I went up to the mountain hut a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful experience, both for the view and the food. Off-menu was the donkey stew. Exceptional!! I highly recommend it. Obviously, you need to book.

Reading some of the negative reviews, I understand that MasterChef is going to a lot of people's heads... the food is all delicious, simple but tasty and authentic, and you can taste the flavor of home. The cured meats and cheeses are excellent, but we're sorry we were too full because we didn't get to try the Cotechino... the setting is also beautiful, with a lovely breeze coming from the lake, and the view is breathtaking; it's definitely worth the climb up there. A special compliment also goes to the staff: everyone is attentive and very friendly.

Everything just fits perfectly here 😊 Friendly service, homemade food, heavenly desserts, and a breathtaking atmosphere nestled in nature and far from tourism. It's a shame we didn't discover this little paradise sooner.

I went yesterday with two friends. We were all satisfied. The view was wonderful, the quality of the ingredients was excellent! I ate very well! Cured meats, cheeses, and homemade products. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.

The only problem is the wasps that attack you if you eat cheese with honey..! But I'll definitely be back soon..! 😎
