Restaurant: A wonderful experience in a beautiful location. The food was excellent. The service was very good, with no rush to clear a table.
The bill was a bit high, but it's manageable every once in a while.
I was 10 minutes late and called politely, but they told me not to worry. I was then greeted with kindness and a smile. Reservations recommended.
Bar Service: I've been a few times for the bar service during the ski season. It's on the slopes, and it's always packed, so there's a queue. Like all places like this, it's beautiful and the food is good.
In the summer, it's less crowded; the outside is beautiful.

In winter, it's fantastic for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. It's a very crowded place. I don't like crowds, especially in the mountains. If you want to eat quietly, make a reservation at noon; there's no one there. They arrive in droves from 4:00 PM onwards.
If you want to be alone at the bar and enjoy the stunning view, go after 4:00 PM when the lifts close, and you'll be magically alone.

My wife and I went for lunch on a Sunday for the first time during a stay in Santa Maria di Catrozza. We booked early in the morning, and it was the only table for two available. Despite the Sunday rush (considering you arrive by car or from the ski slopes), they treated us with kid gloves. Impeccable service, no delays, they accommodated me with a small off-menu item, and even offered a small discount. High-quality products at reasonable prices considering we're in a mountain hut. Highly recommended.
