The place is very clean. The owner is almost obsessive about cleanliness to the point of becoming a bit annoying. In the mountains we are used to greater superficiality regarding hygiene. We had a good and plentiful plate of tagliatelle, excellent grappa. The food is a bit expensive, but it should be considered that the place acts as a refuge all year round without an electricity line, they make do with photovoltaics and a generator. Furthermore, the mountain hut is located in a not very busy area of Grappa, far from the important tourist flows that bring the most income. The only flaw is perhaps the presence of the owner, who inspires a bit of fear and you have to pay attention to what you say and what you do.
It's mid-August. You can't stand the heat and stuffiness anymore.
I decide to go to the mountains with my family. We go to the Archeset hut, the place that a few years ago had given us refreshment when we were surprised by a sudden storm during an excursion.
As then we were welcomed by the managers with courtesy and availability.
We ate morlacco, mixed cold cuts and baked potatoes. Everything excellent.
I had a great meal, the staff was really friendly and helpful in finding me a solution for mid-August lunch without a reservation.... I'll definitely be back 😃😃😃
I visited this mountain hut 1 week ago, remembering that my father often talked about it. Stunning panorama, sublime silence, far from the busiest mountain huts, you can come here all year round as a refuge. the dishes offered are good, although I must say a little too expensive
