Makkaroni Bros ...a great experience! Well-kept location with minimal style. Kind and attentive service. Excellent cuisine, good choice of dishes, excellent ingredients. We tasted the sheep pie, the bruschettona with caramelized onions and the entrecote steak. Definitely recommended

Locale situato in centro a L’Aquila, ben segnalato lungo il corso principale e localizzato nelle sue immediate vicinanze. Gestito da due ragazzi, la location si mostra come sobria e originale nell’arredo, anche molto intima visti i non molti coperti. Prendiamo un antipasto Makkaroni (salumi e formaggi), buono e abbondante, e i fritti pastellati (buonissimi, degni di menzione i fiori di zucca con mozzarella e alici, deliziosi). Come primi assaggio la chitarrina al ragù di agnello con ciliegino giallo e lo gnocco zafferano, punte di asparagi e guanciale: buonissimi e abbondanti entrambi, soprattutto gli gnocchi. Vino della casa buono, un Montepulciano d’Abruzzo di tutto rispetto. Conto adeguato, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Due suggerimenti: il vino qualche grado di meno (era un po’ caldo) e attenzione alla temperatura dei locali, a mio avviso un po’ troppo alta. Bagni pulitissimi e molto comodi. Per il resto nulla da eccepire, consigliato.

The local cured meats are carefully chosen, all excellent. They make portions of vegetables that can be considered truly such. The Aquilana pasta is very good. In the saffron, bacon and asparagus gnocchi, you couldn't even taste the asparagus, a little more wouldn't have gone amiss.

My partner and I went for lunch and everything was perfect. The welcome from the kids was extraordinary and the dishes were amazing. We ate two first courses (saffron gnocchi, asparagus tips and bacon and ravioli filled with ricotta with sauce and basil) and two second courses (double-cooked chicken steak with aromatic herbs and buffalo mozzarella with local raw ham). All topped off with two bottles of natural water, a glass of wine and two coffees. Competitive prices and excellent quality. As soon as we return to L'Aquila we will definitely visit again!

We found ourselves eating at this place by chance, we had good expectations but that wasn't the case. The price is right. The modern room is bright. For me it's not enough.

Se trata de un local pequeño, coqueto, sencillo, bien decorado, con buen ambiente, bien llevado por una pareja, de gestión familiar. Un restaurante donde estaréis muy a gusto, romántico. No hay lujos, ni nada barroco, pero todo el establecimiento rezuma amabilidad. El personal es muy amable, se desvive por la clientela, te sientes mimado, aunque hay demasiadas mesas. De todas maneras los platos van saliendo a su tiempo. Cocina italiana, regional, sabrosa, bien cocinada, gustosa. Relación, precio y calidad excelente, precios muy ajustados. Buena carta de vinos y cerveza muy fría. Postres caseros de verdad. Disfrutamos de cada plato y cada momento. Genial. Aparcamiento muy difícil. Está en pleno casco antiguo. Pero merece mucho la pena desplazarse hasta este restaurante. Volveremos seguro y lo recomendamos sin dudar.

During a visit to L'Aquila we stopped for lunch in this place: well-kept and the staff were very nice, not to mention the dishes. EXCELLENT!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!
