The cakes were delicious and the toilets were clean, but it was a pity that we couldn't sit outside because of high tide.

The service is beyond 5 stars! This is not a touristy place, rather a local vibe where I had an excellent dinner of grilled polpo (octopus) with a creamy sauce. When we ordered an Aperol & Campari Spritz--They were out of both Aperol and Campari--and I'm really glad! Our kind and thoughtful server recommended an alternative which was a Contratto spritz. It was amazing. Delicious and I got a nice buzz from it. From now on that the spritz I will order of I can get it anywhere. Nice details placed on the table while waiting for our dinner included a variety of different types of bread slices, delicious olive oil and balsamic oil for dipping and a little bite of yummy mushroom paste. The food was very flavorful and tasted as if a gourmet chef prepared it. The portions are not for anyone fat and starving. I ate slowly, savored every bite and gazed out at the waters edge. A truly magical Venetian experience. For anyone staying in Venice longer than the usual 2 or 3 days, this is a quieter more peaceful area away from the mobs of tourists. I highly recommend Majer for a meal.

We had lunch on the terrace for three people on August 16, 2025, and we weren't charged for it. We ordered a grilled lamb sandwich and two slices of Margherita pizza. The two portions were quite generous, and you'll feel good afterward. We shared a rice ball stuffed with foie gras and another filled with just meat; they were warm and very good. We also got two bottles of still water, a San Gabriel beer, a tiramisu, and a coffee with a little milk. All for €42. It's quite good at lunchtime because you get shade and can watch the boats go by, and they don't make much noise. It was quite good, we were satisfied, and we would return.

I came here three times this week for breakfast. 🥰 At 8 and 9 a.m., there's a wide selection of pastries and small pastries. At 10 a.m., however, there's less choice because it was a hit. 😊 I loved the almond pastry and the small square chocolate/rum pastry. The Maroccino served in a cocktail glass is fun. The service was efficient and the price was very reasonable. Having breakfast by the canal on a beautiful sunny Sunday is fantastic! I envy the people who live there. 🤩

After seeing YouTuber Ernie recommend Giudecca, we stopped by this café to enjoy a cup of coffee and admire the island's architecture. It was a nice break for us after arriving in Venice. When the waiter heard we were watching YouTube, they were curious about the channel, so we sent them Ernie's channel, and they had a great time chatting with us.

The place is well-kept, the service is good, and the food is very good. We ordered focaccia sandwiches (all very good), and we tried an excellent arrancine (rice ball with cheese and ham). We also had two desserts; the tiramisu was fantastic, I highly recommend it!
