10/08/2024: THANKS!!! Dear Gamper family and also to all the waitresses (greetings especially to Michi) for the always great evenings with you. We stayed at the Kronenwirt at Easter 2024 and booked again at the end of September 2024. Really great apartments with services like a hotel with a very nice view over the Meran valley. According to my wife, the free Jura coffee machine is amazing. We ate at the Kronenwirt very often during all our stays. Simply very tasty food with incredibly nice hosts and the waitresses also live the “spirit” of friendliness and especially warmth. Me and my wife always feel completely at home here. Both Mr. and Mrs. Gamper are simply wonderful and very accommodating hosts and always do everything they can to make your return feel like coming home. I just took the trouble to look at all the Google reviews and I can't understand some of the negative ones. Of course it can take a while if all tables are occupied. You should also make a reservation in the evening. But why is it always full? The waitresses are always on the move quickly and always try everything to give the guest a very good feeling. I haven't experienced this in Germany for a long time. In any case, I'm on vacation and if it takes a little longer, that's not a problem because I have time. And that has never happened during my stays either. We definitely feel very comfortable here and look forward to coming back.
