Cozy cabin, good food, very friendly staff! Very nice outdoor area with a great view. There were baby goats in the enclosure, which was a wonderful pastime to watch.

We went there because we have a kid and he always have fun there. The walk is easy from the car park. Food always on point service is fast depends how busy but its relaxing atmosphere. A must go

Highly recommended! Extremely friendly waiters, excellent food, very child-friendly, fantastic views, and a perfect children's area: trampoline, swings, slide, goats, etc. A short and relaxing walk up from the Vilander parking lot, even accessible with a stroller.

Beautifully located hut. Unfortunately the beef soup with noodles and beef was not good. Beef broth was tasteless (more like instant). Cut the meat into cubes and then add it to the noodles. Too bad. Coffee was tasty.

The hut is on the mountain pasture at over 1,800 meters above sea level. From the last parking lot you can easily reach it in less than half an hour. Don't forget to wear sturdy shoes in winter, as you'll be walking on snow-covered paths. It was a beautiful winter day and the place was well attended. Despite the huge crowds, everything was under control. The food is down-to-earth and good, I'll be back again :-)

27/07/2025: We stayed one night at Alexander's, taking advantage of the opportunity to park our camper on the farm. After the special drive, which takes about 20 minutes uphill from Merano via winding roads, we were greeted at the top by Alexander in a sincere and warm manner. He explained everything to us and accompanied us for the rest of the evening through his incredibly delicious and authentic three-course meal. The hut is lovingly furnished and lacks nothing. Dear Alexander, you are a very special person who gives guests memories that last a lifetime. Thank you so much!
26/07/2025: We were warmly welcomed by Alexander and had a wonderful evening with incredibly delicious beer and food! Highly recommended and definitely not our last visit to the Greiterhof. :)
