Maidda In Noto

Bakery with pastries for lunch, everything pretty good.

I forgot to review this bakery in Noto a few days ago, where I was passing through. From the outside, it looked nice and clean, but since I'd already had lunch, I only ordered a piece of scaccia with cherry tomatoes and provola cheese to take home. Everything was very inviting, especially the bread, because I know they use premium flour and Timilia. It might be a little pricey for a bakery, but it's worth it, because the smell of the scaccia was so good I couldn't resist and ate it on the bus. I can assure you, it was one of the best meals I've ever had; the dough was thin and soft, but not raw, and the filling was flavorful and well-blended. My compliments, truly.

Small but lovely bakery frequented by many locals. Everything is baked fresh quickly (5 minutes), and even if they're empty, stay and order something. Very friendly staff. Delicious local lemonades (Polara).

Very delicious snacks and tasty bread. It seems they use descent amount of olive oil in their production.

An exceptionally clean bakery. The quality of the breads we bought (ciabatta and sesame ring) was outstanding. The aroma, texture, and taste all testified to the high quality of the ingredients. The finely roasted sesame seeds were wonderful! I've only ever tasted bread of this quality once before – at a Herzegovinian farmer's house, where I was lucky enough to try some. In short: this quality is very rare! A few negative reviews here focus primarily on the price. The prices seem perfectly fair to me. But if you don't want to pay for quality, you can certainly accept the inferior quality of baked goods from a discount supermarket. For us, the bread was worth every penny. Anyone visiting Noto should definitely shop here. Thank you for the wonderful taste experience!

Bread. Bread. Excellent bread. The sesame wreath is just as great as the ciabatta and something special.

I've never tasted focaccia or other products this good! Truly excellent, highly recommended; the whole wheat loaf is also worth a try. This bakery uses ancient grains and is well worth a visit.
