Incredible Indian Veg Delights in Rome! Maharaja served up one of the best Indian meals we’ve had abroad. The Kadhai Paneer was bursting with spice and flavor, the Dal Makhani was creamy and comforting, and the Veg Biryani was aromatic and perfectly cooked. The star? The Chilli Paneer — spicy, tangy, and addictive! Friendly service and cozy vibes made it even better. Highly recommended! 🇮🇳🍽️🔥

A good Indian restaurant in the center of Rome. Balanced traditional Indian dishes. The vegetable samosas are good, as is the rice with chicken and dried fruit. The lentil soup is excellent. The bread with dried fruit didn't live up to expectations. Prices are reasonable and not too high. The atmosphere is clean, and the service is good.

This is the second time I've booked a table for lunch and, for one reason or another, they canceled it at the last minute. The first time, when I arrived at the restaurant, they refused me a table, basically telling me to 'make do'. Great food, really fast service. We were craving for some Indian food and this was a gem. Truly recommend!!

After 3 weeks of pizza and pasta I really enjoyed the flavours here. The lamb was exceptional

Delicious food, nice atmosphere

In a neighborhood where the restaurant offering is wide but less and less curated, this historic Indian restaurant is a safe haven! Large and welcoming environment, good service and well-cooked traditional dishes. We chose their chicken, both grilled and stewed in curry, as an appetizer the samosas, vegetable rolls in a pasta shell. To accompany the dishes, I like naan more than traditional rice, both plain and with garlic. The semolina sweets for dessert are good, prices are not low but absolutely honest.

My parents were craving some Indian food and even though we’re not from the north, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The spice was appropriate for us. The taste of the food was exceptional and the management was really great also. 10/10 would recommend.

The food is good. However the service could have been a little better. The hostess kind of belittled Indians calling them lazy, which i found not very welcoming. Overall a good experience
