A perfect Valentine's Day evening. The restaurant was packed, but the service was impeccable even without a reservation. The food was extraordinary, vegetarian (in our case), generous portions, live music, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. One of the fondest memories of our weekend in the area. We dined at Ristorante Pizzeria Magnoz in Popoli over Valentine's Day weekend 2026, and we can say without hesitation that it was one of the most wonderful experiences of our stay. We arrived early, without a reservation, and the restaurant was completely packed. Despite this, the staff welcomed us with great kindness and professionalism, finding us a table right away. This gesture alone made us understand the quality of the service. We are truly grateful to have had the opportunity to dine there, as it was one of the most special moments of our weekend. The atmosphere was fantastic: a spacious, warm, and welcoming space, with live music that made the evening even more enjoyable and romantic without being intrusive. There was a lively and authentic energy, with the restaurant packed but always well-organized. We're vegetarians and the food was divine. We started with a spectacular bruschetta: four slices of their homemade bread, fragrant, flavorful, truly exceptional. Then we tried a fresh handmade pasta, similar to spaghetti but shorter and much thicker, with a perfect texture and incredible flavor. You could taste the quality and craftsmanship. The saffron and truffle risotto was indescribable: creamy, fragrant, balanced. You literally melted while eating it. Even though we were already full, we couldn't resist a pizza parmigiana with eggplant: light but full of flavor, well-cooked, and fresh ingredients. Even though we ran out of room, we finished it all! And finally, a dream tiramisu, the perfect ending to such a successful dinner. The portions are generous, the prices are absolutely fair, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. But what really made the difference was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, always smiling, present but never intrusive. They helped make the evening truly unforgettable. Beautiful restaurant. I really appreciated the interior, which was truly thoughtfully decorated. The service was also excellent. As for the food, I was slightly disappointed by a few dishes, like the pasta with river shrimp, which lacked any shrimp flavor; it was basically pasta with sauce. The arrosticini were also undercooked; I usually find them quite charred in Abruzzo; these were too rare and a little rubbery, unfortunately. The trout meatballs, on the other hand, were truly excellent. I would definitely return, but I'd opt for a more rustic first course, perhaps something with mushrooms, sausage, or guanciale. The arrosticini might have been taken off the heat too early because the place was packed. Overall, though, I enjoyed it.

I think Popoli Terme is the ideal and perfect option for meetings, meals, and get-togethers with friends. It's a super warm and friendly place, the food is delicious, and the prices are amazing. Anyone who doesn't visit the Magnos hotel restaurant doesn't know what they're missing; it's truly an ideal place to eat very well at very good prices.

A rustic yet well-maintained restaurant serving well-prepared, generously portioned traditional dishes. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.

Nice and friendly location, good food

I frequent a restaurant often because it feels like family. A pleasant and welcoming place, with excellent, high-quality food. Fantastic grilled meat. The pizza dough is incredibly light. The river fish dishes are excellent. The homemade bread is truly exquisite. Emiliano, besides being incredibly friendly, is also incredibly good at recommending dishes to pair with excellent wines or beers. Friendly staff. Excellent value for money.

Yesterday, January 7, San Benedetto in Perillis experienced a heavy and unexpected snowfall. My partner and I were stuck in a B&B near this restaurant, and the staff went out of their way to bring us dinner. In addition to the abundant and delicious dishes, we were amazed by the humanity, professionalism, and kindness of the staff. PS: The saffron gnocchi and the pasta with meatballs were divine!
