Magnolia In Preganziol

We slept very well at the Hotel Magnolia after this eventful evening. The prepared dishes and dessert were a delight. A glass of Romandolo to finish the meal was a delight.

Delicious fresh pasta tagliolini eaten and homemade tiramisu for dessert. Food is full of flavor and you can taste that it is homemade. In short: recommended!

The hotel is great. We didn't use the restaurant because the waiter kicked us out saying that the entrance to the park was only for customers of the restaurant and not from the hotel. We had intended to have dinner there both evenings, but after this attitude, we didn't dare go. Too bad...

Posto attaccato al nostro hotel, ma con gestione autonoma, senza muoverci troppo decidiamo di passarci una serata. Location bella, ariosa, elegante, sul Terraglio ma all'interno ovattata dal traffico. Le cose gradevoli si fermano qui perchè dalla nostra cena composta da due antipasti e due primi ci aspettavamo di meglio. Giusto onesti gli antipasti del Bollito del giorno (€ 20) e della Cappasanta e canestrelli gratinati (€ 16). Deludenti invece i Bigoli in cassopipa (€ 16) con pesce invisibile e i Tagliolini con Mazzancolle (€ 16). Pasta bianca e scotta della quale, lamentandoci, quando ci viene detto fatta da loro con quantità enorme di uova mi sono sentito sinceramente preso in giro. Abbiamo deciso di fermarci qui. Con Acqua e coperto € 77 in due, direi tanto per quanto offerto; con vino, secondo e dolce si arriverebbe a prezzi davvero elevati. Lascio a voi le conclusioni.

Un pranzo eccellente… curato e con personale gentile .. abbiamo mangiato dell’ottimo pesce sia di antipasti e di secondi . Prosecco buono e fresco .. ottimi anche i dolci .! Il pranzo mi è stato offerto xcio non so il costo .!!!!

The Terraglio (teragio in Venetian or terajo in Treviso) is the road connecting Mestre to Treviso, first mentioned around 1150, and adorned with numerous magnificent Venetian villas. In one of these is the Magnolia restaurant, superbly managed by Mr. Luca. I've stopped there several times and have always found fresh, high-quality fish prepared to perfection. Parking is available, and you can stay overnight at their hotel.
