Ottimo ristorante nel cuore di San Miniato. Cucina vegetariana di alto livello. Cena con amici non vegetariani che hanno apprezzato tutto il menù. Personale professionale, attento e simpatico. Piccolo, ma arredato con gusto ed attenzione ai dettagli. Piatti fuori dagli schemi, ma con un'esplosione di gusto e profumi. Da provare sicuramente. Bravi!!

Truly special place.. friendly, welcoming and competent staff (they are very young guys, regardless I congratulate you, 20 year old guys with a desire to work are not easy to find). Refined and very good food. Not recommended... Too bad about the parking... Too many policemen don't help 🤣

We had the menu with 6 courses, which were decidedly generous compared to average (always considering a tasting menu). We had a great time and will definitely be back. The staff is very kind and attentive.

Fascinating restaurant, great flavour combinations which surprise & delight. Not many non-alcoholic drink options, however a tonic water sufficed. Gluten free options too!

Saying that you eat well doesn't give an idea To say that the staff is courteous and professional and that the environment is welcoming is an understatement. A gourmet cuisine that borders on perfection in the, I would say obsessive, search for the right combination of flavours; presented with excellent conscience and knowledge. The preparation of delicious dishes with an enveloping and unique flavor that I have never found in my constant wandering around Italian restaurants. All served by very kind and highly trained staff. Don't let the prices scare you because what you spend is excellently repaid by a unique culinary experience.

Maggese is now an established reality in San Miniato. And even if it retains the nature of a vegetarian restaurant, it is certainly much more, both for the many influences that are rediscovered in its cuisine, and in general for the ability to amaze with ever new flavors and combinations. Maggese is a profoundly new restaurant, which stands out in the area, and where the desire to do things is clearly perceived. The restaurant is located right in the historic center of San Miniato Alto, with an elegant and particular decor. The service is what you would expect from a restaurant like this, without being too stuffy. There are also a couple of seats at the chef's table. The culinary offer is built around a tasting menu of five or six courses, in which the guest can freely choose two or three first courses from a list of four, without being bound by the choices of their table. All the dishes live up to expectations and are capable of surprising the guest with unusual combinations of flavors for this area. Wine list adequate to the level of the restaurant, with normal price increases. The only comment I can make about the restaurant after many visits is probably the place itself, which when completely full (as often happens) is decidedly too noisy and confusing. The feeling is that Maggese could now benefit greatly from a new location, having now far exceeded the limits of the current one.

Extraordinary combinations of flavors and textures.

Era tanto tempo che volevo provarlo e a gennaio in occasione dell'anniversario con il compagno ci siamo andati per una cena. Abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione e abbiamo trovato tutto squisito. Dall'entrè con una 'nduja vegetale fino al dolce. Servizio super attento e curato nei minimi dettagli e per me vale anche il prezzo. Un'ottima esperienza che consiglio.

Top vegetarian/vegan restaurant, in the town center of San Miniato, parking near,a dining experience to try, fantastic presentation, incredible pairing of vegetables with eggs , cheese sauces, incredible , a must go, maybe a little expensive but worth it

An explosive mix of textures, flavors and colours. Impeccable service, super welcoming location. Mandatory tasting menu! I will definitely be back!
