We had dinner with my partner on Saturday 3 May, a more than positive experience. Special and very good elaborate dishes. The guys in the room are very good and very prepared. The price is worth the experience.

Maggese is now an established reality in San Miniato. And even if it retains the nature of a vegetarian restaurant, it is certainly much more, both for the many influences that are rediscovered in its cuisine, and in general for the ability to amaze with ever new flavors and combinations. Maggese is a profoundly new restaurant, which stands out in the area, and where the desire to do things is clearly perceived. The restaurant is located right in the historic center of San Miniato Alto, with an elegant and particular decor. The service is what you would expect from a restaurant like this, without being too stuffy. There are also a couple of seats at the chef's table. The culinary offer is built around a tasting menu of five or six courses, in which the guest can freely choose two or three first courses from a list of four, without being bound by the choices of their table. All the dishes live up to expectations and are capable of surprising the guest with unusual combinations of flavors for this area. Wine list adequate for the level of the restaurant, with normal price increases. The only comment I can make about the restaurant after many visits is probably the place itself, which when completely full (as often happens) is decidedly too noisy and confusing. The feeling is that Maggese could now benefit greatly from a new location, having now far exceeded the limits of the current one.

Sono stato a cena con una coppia di amici che me lo hanno consigliato, sia x il cibo che x lo stile, ma anche x il prezzo ,locale elegante intimo e accogliente..molto apprezzato il colore verde! Personale gentile preparato e sorridente, e il cibo un esperienza da fare,x descriverlo bissogna assaggiarlo e lasciarsi trasportare dai sensi!io ci tornerò 🌿💚
