Magatama In Acireale

A wonder place to dine! There are so many choices that even with milk allergy and gluten intolerance, you'll find plenty of well prepared dishes. The position just in front of the cathedral highten the experience. I highly recommend this place!

Cercavo da tempo di mangiare una buona pizza ad Acireale e finalmente ci sono riuscito. Locale situato nella piazza centrale, molto carino all’interno e con la possibilità di mangiare anche nei tavolini all’esterno. Servizio molto veloce e pizze davvero saporite. Menù molto ampio, vasta scelta di pizze e una sezione dedicata interamente al sushi ( noi abbiamo provato solo le pizze).

Let me start by saying that I am no one to make judgements/criticisms, this review will be my sincere thoughts regarding Magatama. In my opinion, the pizza is not contemporary in terms of dough which I found "heavy", it is a cross between the Neapolitan one (which I have eaten several times) and the Sicilian one. In my opinion, only the high edge is contemporary. There is nothing to say about the ingredients of the pizzas, they are excellent, but in my opinion they do not justify the prices of the pizzas. Now, I don't know how much they pay for Apulian fiordilatte etc etc, but in any case we are there, that is, we are talking about €3 for a freaking 75cl bottle of water, which I almost don't even get at the airport. Everyone sets the prices they want, I can't criticize this, but for me they are unnecessarily high. "It's better for less" no, but "good for much less" yes. I don't recommend the restaurant to those who watch prices (like me) and who are careful about how much they spend. Small constructive criticism: the menu is aesthetically pleasing (useless for me) but I found it a bit chaotic and impractical, especially the pizza chapter.

Siamo arrivati al Magatama con molte aspettative data la numerosa affluenza e pubblicità, mi dispiace dire che non sono state affatto confermate. Attese infinite tra una portata e l’altra, personale quasi inesistente, sushi nella media e location niente di che. Non tornerò.
