Personally, I'm not overly fond of set menus and always prefer to choose from the menu. There's no menu here, but the menu is a surprise (of course, any intolerances or allergies can be noted). I have to say: what a pleasant surprise! A menu on the rise with creative touches and very well-balanced flavors, perhaps with a few too many forays into the bitter realm. An experience worth repeating to try the young chef's decidedly skilful approach on other surprise dishes. The place is very pleasant, and the service is professional and friendly, worthy of applause.
