Hello from Montreal! I had the best steak ever at this restaurant.

I had an amazing evening enjoying the best red wine from Mendoza. The chef, Gustavo, was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even better. Don’t leave without trying the delicious ham and cheese empanadas !! ALSO especially recommend maizena’s alfajores , they’re outstanding! I can’t wait to get back Gracias gustavo SOS MUY CRACK !! 🇪🇸🇦🇷

As an Argentinian, I truly felt at home. The food, atmosphere, music, and service were EXCELLENT! My partner had the empanadas for starters, and I had a provoleta, which were exquisite, followed by asado and steaks. For dessert, we had traditional alfajores, and thanks to Leandro, an incredible wine selection! I'd definitely go back and recommend it. 👏

Madre Selva is a true landmark in Palermo, not only for lovers of Argentine cuisine and culture, but also for anyone seeking an authentic, welcoming place where every dish is delicious and tells a story. You can immediately taste the attention to detail, the careful selection of ingredients, and the love for tradition that Gustavo, the Argentine chef and owner, infuses into everything, from the kitchen to the warm dining room to the excellent and well-stocked wine cellar! My father, a Palermitan born and raised in South America, rediscovers the authentic flavors of his childhood here: every visit is like a journey back in time for him. And for my wife and I, who are vegetarians, it's always a pleasant surprise because they offer a wide variety of options, including guacamole, various vegetarian main courses, empanadas with onions, those with walnuts and cheese, and corn humitas, which are so good we could eat them over and over again! The service is always impeccable, kind, and attentive. We highly recommend it!

For me, Madre Selva isn't just a restaurant; it's a bit like home. I was born and raised in South America, and every time I come here, I rediscover the true flavors of my childhood. The meat is always cooked to perfection, flavorful, and expertly crafted. When I go, I often order empanadas, grilled meats with chimichurri. I'm also always happy to exchange a few words in Spanish with Gustavo, the Argentinean owner and chef. He's a delightful, kind man who clearly puts his heart into everything he does. The Argentinean wine is excellent, and the service is always attentive. Madre Selva is a special place; I recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the authentic Argentina.

Although it's an Argentine restaurant and, therefore, the main course is meat, it also offers plenty of options for vegetarians. Plus, the staff is incredibly friendly. I definitely recommend trying it.
