Great Irish pub with good quality Guinness! Came here to watch the world cup and was not dissapointed, they had a big screen to watch! Service was nice, and when we came another day to buy some beers for takeaway it was no problem!

A welcoming, spotlessly clean place, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail, with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Fabrizio and the entire staff are exceptionally kind and incredibly helpful: they truly make you feel at home. The food is simply delicious, and the prices are absolutely fair. I've only been in twice for a couple of Guinness drinks. The beer is excellent and well-served. The atmosphere is typical of an Irish pub. I'll definitely be back when I can.

Vintage but pleasant atmosphere. If you're a Fortitudo fan, you're in the right place. The girl serving is very good. The only downside is they don't have a kitchen. I recommend the excellent sandwich and bruschetta. Excellent

Well... Let me tell you. This place was great. Little to no English speakers here but, they work with you. Our waitress made an amazing food suggestion we loved it. Like tapas but not. 3 of us ate 1 hamburger, 1 sandwich and 2 open faces deals with 4 magners and a fanta. Less than 50 euro. Recommend for a nosh and nothing pretentious.

Truly a fantastic pub, the atmosphere is quintessential Irish, and they have a remarkable selection of beers expertly poured by the bartenders. They often have a big screen and show matches, especially Bologna's; it's a popular spot with locals. The expertly poured Guinness deserves praise, and the piadinas are also delicious and reasonably priced, plus the bartenders are super friendly! Keep up the good work!

20/03/2026: I've been to Al Ritrovo several times, and every time I return, the products are consistently better, and the staff is always super helpful and welcoming. They make you feel at home. The menus are always carefully curated and change frequently, which is a plus because it allows you to discover new, delicious flavors. Their Sicilian dishes are delicious, and it's hard to find such authentic flavors in Bologna and the surrounding area. I also recommend trying their aperitivo: exquisite drinks and tasty snacks that pair perfectly... and it's so conveniently located near the city center and, especially, the university, how could you say no!
