We had a great time! Tartare and Chianina steak that melted in your mouth, combined with the kindness of the owners, completed an excellent evening. I recommend it for the variety of meats and wines (but not only, the menu is rich) and for the possibility of choosing directly from the butcher's counter what and how much to eat. Ambiente e accoglienza
Il locale unisce con naturalezza l’anima rustica di una storica macelleria di paese a quella più conviviale di una griglieria moderna. Gli ambienti, seppur non molto ampi, risultano caldi e accoglienti, con un’atmosfera familiare resa ancora più gradevole dalla cortesia del personale e dalla presenza della signora Maria, vera padrona di casa, che accoglie gli ospiti con semplicità e passione.
Cucina: qualità e sostanza

Unfortunately I have to express some disappointment with the quality of the meat served at the Macelleria Giaccherini da Maria restaurant. I had high expectations, especially knowing the reputation of the butcher's shop, but my experience did not live up to it.
The meat, although well presented, was surprisingly not very tender and lacked that full flavor that one expects from a place that makes meat its strong point. Added to this is the fact that we were unable to choose the cooking method: the mode was imposed by the kitchen, without any possibility of customisation, which had a negative impact on the overall experience.
The service was courteous, and the environment pleasant, but when you choose a restaurant like this it is the quality - and attention to detail - that makes the difference. In this case, unfortunately, we are not there.
I hope it was just an unfortunate episode, but for the moment I don't feel like recommending the place to lovers of good meat.
