We met these great guys and immediately felt at home. Excellent selection right at the counter, even single pieces, super top grilled meats and superb quality, fair price with the service and products offered. Definitely worth a stop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a wonderful discovery! If you're vacationing in San Foca, you can't miss dining at least once at this excellent butcher shop. Their well-stocked meat counter lets you choose your favorite meat and they prepare it impeccably, strictly grilled! The friendly and cheerful staff are ready to serve you and answer any questions you may have. We'll definitely be back!

We dined at this fantastic place three times during a 10-day vacation. It's a small but welcoming place where you truly feel at home. Their strong point is the exceptional quality of all their meats. Everything is served with excellent side dishes. They also offer a selection of excellent wines, both local and international, to pair with the food. The service was perfect and fast. All the staff were fantastic. Thanks to Domenico, Giulio, and all their staff. We'll definitely be back! Mirko and Marsi

Eine Metzgerei, bei der man sich Fleisch und Wurst (in bester Qualität) an der Theke aussucht und dann mit den gewünschten Beilagen serviert bekommt. Das alles bei freundlichem Service und zu angemessenen Preisen.

05/09/2025: The restaurant is located in a quaint and meticulously maintained setting, with an intimate and refined atmosphere. The menu features traditional dishes from the lower Salento region, such as stuffed eggplant, spaghetti with turnips, municheddhe (land snails), and paparina, as well as an excellent selection of dry-aged meats. All the vegetables and greens used come from the owner's garden, and this truly makes a difference on the palate. In short, Chiostro degli Scolopi is an essential stop for anyone wishing to experience the flavors of Salento's tradition.
04/09/2025: We had dinner two nights ago. Antonio welcomed us into a familiar yet unpretentious atmosphere. The restaurant is housed in a former convent, with outdoor tables overlooking the cloister, but we ended up taking a tour of the interior, which is well worth a visit. The food was simple but high-quality, with great attention to the ingredients; it was tasty and delicious. The service was friendly but never intrusive. Antonio was very cheerful, friendly, and discreet. Highly recommended.

21/08/2025: We had dinner for two on a cozy terrace in front of the Duomo. Tender, flavorful meatballs and a trio of delicious crostoni. All washed down with an excellent susumaniello. €65.
