Unfortunately, 5 stars is the maximum. Because Mabrouk deserves even more. An absolutely perfect concept, for an experience that perfectly reflects Alghero. The owner, who runs the kitchen, is the epitome of an Alghero woman, in every aspect. A cheerful, determined, and energetic lady, she's also extremely available to meet customers. The menu isn't designed to please the average diner, but rather a testament to her love for the profession, down to the smallest details. ONLY what the sea has to offer is served daily, ensuring you always have fresh produce. You're not the one who decides, but in fact, you'll only be offered the freshest Alghero has to offer; rest assured, of that. It's absolutely clear, especially from someone like me who works in the kitchen, that there's such an awareness of the product offered, and the mastery in preparing it, that Mabrouk can impose its own rules, such as changing the menu frequently or opening only a few hours in the evening. For just €55 per person, we were served five appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and dessert, plus wine and water, in absolutely generous portions. The package, perfect so far, is rounded off by the friendly and very pleasant (as well as competent) wait staff and a truly fitting location, with its simplicity, a place that reflects the historic center and culture of Alghero. I, a native of Alghero, a lifelong immigrant, brought my partner from Rome, and they made a wonderful impression on us, spending an evening we'll remember forever. Thank you for everything

Overall it was a good experience and great service. We loved the appetizers. I expected a bit more fish in the first courses, instead of just huge amounts of carbs. I have to say the best dishes were really small, like 2 shrimp each, while 2 pastas were large and we could not finish them. That's unfortunate and makes me wonder if maybe an A la carte menu would be better for this place.

A truly excellent seafood restaurant with a tasting menu offering the freshest local fish. The staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back.

Great concept in a cozy restaurant. 55 EUR for a complete menu with a lot of fish and seafood dishes. Wine and water are included in the price. Everything was pretty good. If anything could be improved, the speed of service should be a little slower, the wine should be a little better and the sparkling water served should not taste like chlorine. The dishes were delicious and the price very reasonable.

It's all wrong. For what you eat, the quality of the food, the quality of the service, the location; you should pay 100 euros per person, not half that. You'll go to a place you'll never forget; it's worth much more than what they're asking. It's all wrong.
