The pancakes are amazing...the cocktails are good. Small inside space, but very spacious outside.

Small café with a wide variety of products.
The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to customers, and pays particular attention to children.
We discovered this café by chance. We sat down for breakfast and have returned three times.
There are a wide variety of sweet and savory breakfast products (there's
an abundance of choice), and the staff is friendly and attentive. In our case, they even brought something to eat right away for our almost two-year-old daughter, even bringing a placemat and some crayons.
It's nice to sit in places like this and feel welcomed, pampered, and at home!
Highly recommended.

The most comfortable and familiar breakfasts and brunches in the entire area.
The staff is always friendly and never says a word out of place.
The dishes and drinks are carefully prepared and very close, if not identical, to the American originals.
The pancakes and savory breakfasts are world-class.
The menu varies throughout the year, with seasonal and special occasion options (Halloween, Christmas, etc.).
The prices, while they may seem slightly higher than the average in the area, are absolutely fair considering the portions served.
Highly recommended!

The place is nice, the staff is friendly but I don't think it's good value for money. I had a milkshake which was basically just milk without any shake and it tasted like a biscuit. The pancakes weren't good and were a bit too spongy.

This is my second or third time trying something at Maat.
The quality continues to be high, although I personally find it expensive, but it's worth it every now and then, and I like trying different dishes.
This time it was the cinnamon roll and the pumpkin spice latte.
The first was good, but I was hoping for a softer, frosted version. The drink was delicious, even on the eyes (they have beautiful cups).
One plus: they have several alternatives to traditional milk: plant-based (soy, oat, almond) and lactose-free. And the staff is really kind: I hadn't booked, but I wanted breakfast with the promise of leaving the table in time for those who had. They sat me down.

Very cute place, a bit small but still cozy. We had breakfast with a portion of French toast with eggs and bacon and a portion of banana and strawberry pancakes with Nutella topping, all accompanied by two juices! I love American breakfasts... and it was my first time there. Next time I'm in Rome, I'll go back to try something else.
Edit: I went back for brunch... the bagels were delicious and bigger than I expected!! The staff was always kind and courteous...
