We had pasta dishes for dinner. The place is objectively Spartan. So was the wine offering. However, all in all, the pure Pecorello was pleasant and the two fish dishes were balanced and tasty. Even the buffalo pizza crust, which we took as an appetizer, lived up to expectations. The service is a bit absent. Perhaps the place is "calibrated" more as a pizzeria. This is why we plan to return to verify this.

Un locale essenziale, pulito e con personale molto cordiale. La pizza è eccellente, con un impasto ben lievitato, ben condita e ben cotta. Bravi!

Il locale è spartano, ma è in ottima posizione a breve distanza dall'uscita autostradale di Cosenza Nord. Abbiamo mangiato un'ottima pizza ad un prezzo contenuto.

22/12/2024: Years later I return to this place where the quality has remained excellent as always. Both the appetizer and the pizzas are good. The staff is always welcoming and available for every customer request. Prices not excessively high. I hope to return again.

La Dolce Isola

28/08/2024: I have had a home in Scalea for years and I have frequented almost all the places including the sweet island, which is a historic place in Scalea with beautiful, well-kept furnishings and offers an excellent breakfast, good coffee, homemade ice cream, cocktails etc... kind and competent staff to recommend.
22/08/2024: Everything was excellent. The brioche with ice cream was divine!! And the guys abroad are good and kind
