Lyfi Alm In Martello

We visited this wonderful alpine pasture a whopping three times in the second week of October – for lunch and twice for coffee and cake. The hosts are very friendly and attentive. There's a changing area in the restrooms, so we could freshen up our baby there. The alpine pasture is also suitable for a visit with children. The food on offer is varied and delicious. We'll definitely be back.

A week of hiking at the Lyfialm was like a three-week vacation. I ate like kings and was cared for like a mother. I felt like I was in Abraham's bosom. Thank you so much for your care and the fascinating stories of our shared wildlife observations. It couldn't be better!

Great alpine hut...very good food. Friendly staff, and reasonable prices! We'll be back.

Super 5 course dinner, breakfast leaves nothing to be desired

I spent three nights at the Lyfialm last week. We received a very warm welcome from Pauline and Gerhard. The entire team is friendly and accommodating. The hut is spotlessly clean, and the beds are comfortable. The rushing stream takes some getting used to, but it's certainly worth it. The food was excellent. I would give Gerhard at least a ⭐️. I'd love to come back. There are also beautiful hikes starting from the hut. Everything is very well signposted.

A must-try for every visitor to the Martello Valley. The potato ravioli are highly recommended!

We spent one night at the Lyfialm with our family. The food was simply unbelievably delicious and lovingly prepared. Vegetarian dishes were also served at our request. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with sweets, cold cuts, fresh scrambled eggs, and fruit. You couldn't wish for a more wonderful stay at the mountain pasture. Compliments to the entire team.

These excellent liver dumplings alone are worth a hike to this alpine pasture! They're probably the best in the country: light and airy, full of liver flavor, cooked with just the right spices for a delicious taste, and a generous size. The coleslaw with chives was a perfect accompaniment. Alpine feasting at its finest in a wonderful location surrounded by mountains, by a stream and amidst the larches and stone pines. Highly recommended!
