We chose this restaurant after reading a terrible review, which I personally would have responded to with great vehemence, and the owner's wise and completely agreeable response!!! We've never made a happier choice: the location, the courtesy of the staff, the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, the quality of the food and the wine and beer selection, and, last but not least, the value for money. It's a typical restaurant not to be missed in L'Aquila.

Ideal for a feast of arrosticini, goat, chicken, Angus beef, and liver, all very good. The restaurant also serves platters and bruschetta, which we haven't tried, but look interesting.

07/09/2025: Excellent restaurant, very good food, very kind and helpful staff
04/09/2025: Above Scanno, in a very picturesque location and easy to reach. Convenient parking is available outside the building. The place is quaint and rustic, with wooden furnishings that give it a lovely mountain chalet feel. Fast service, helpful and friendly waiters. Various menu with excellent dishes, reasonable prices. We were satisfied, and recommend booking, especially on weekends.
