It's always a wonderful experience dining here. All the dishes bear the distinct signature of the charming and histrionic Carloforte chef Luigi Pomata. The route he offers during the tuna race season is spectacular. Prices are reasonable for the service and food quality.

We're the couple with the dachshund; we ate divinely at Luigi's, with his masterpieces, refined delicacies. Some say the plates are small, but we left feeling full with a first course, a second course, and a dessert. A delight for the palate. We'll be back soon!

A high-end restaurant, an experience to remember. As soon as you arrive, you're greeted by the staff and Chef Pomata, who, once you're seated at your table, are excellent at advising you on how to begin your journey. We opted for the "A mano libera" tasting menu, which met our expectations as all the dishes were exceptional. The entire menu was generous and more than adequate, yet light, leaving no cloying aftertaste. In fact, we particularly noted the fact that we needed very little water throughout the meal (a detail that highlights the perfect balance of the dishes). You can see the commitment and research into sourcing new, but always local, ingredients and bringing out the best they have to offer. It was a pleasure to speak with Chef Pomata, a man with great knowledge of the sector who explains a lot about his cuisine and the Sardinian region.
I would generally recommend choosing the tasting menu; it's an uncommon experience.
It's difficult to describe everything in a review; some things deserve to be discovered for the first time.
Prices are in line with the type of experience.
Recommended for any type of lunch or dinner, from a special occasion to a gathering with friends or family.

A sensational dinner, to say the least. We ordered two "freehand" tasting menus and were truly amazed by the quality and originality of the dishes. Excellent ingredients, unique and elegant combinations, and perfectly balanced flavors.
The service was commensurate with the restaurant's caliber; the waiters were always available and attentive, ready to provide descriptions of the dishes and wines.
The restaurant is extremely elegant, the chairs are beautiful and comfortable. The location, just steps from the port of Cagliari, makes it even more special.
The price is absolutely appropriate for the level of the experience and the quality of the restaurant.

A really nice place with great food selection and excellent wine list!
This experience made me reconsider my relationship with the tuna fish! Even if you have considered tuna as your least favorite, be brave and try it here!
Also they have great selection of local and international wines, they even had an option from Hungary!
Amazing kitchen, amazing people and amazing experience! A must visit place for sure!

We went to Luigi Pomata for lunch on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say it was a truly wonderful experience! We had suckling pig and a dessert, both delicious and uniquely prepared. The dishes were carefully crafted, with balanced flavors and a cuisine that blends tradition and creativity.
The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable, helping make the lunch even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
