Lucullo In Cesena

Excellent food and relatively quick service, despite there being about thirty of us. But I'm giving it three stars because two of them were lost when it came to the bill: the total, paying the Roman fare, came to about €27 per person, but the manager said, "Let's make it a round figure: €30 per person!" It's true, paying three euros more certainly won't change our lives, but I don't like people who use these methods to extort money from customers. It's a shame, because aside from that, it's an excellent restaurant.

I'm happy to correct the review below from 9 months ago. We gave it a second chance. It's always best to book because it's always busy. The pizza is indeed very good and decidedly Neapolitan, including the desserts. The lemon delight is amazing, and the waitress is incredibly friendly and helpful. I'd say we're regulars now. Obviously, the first experience wasn't the best, but the reality, fortunately for us and especially for them, is different. Well done, congratulations, and thank you. Chosen based on the Google reviews, the atmosphere is informal, the service is a bit grumpy, and the pizza is slightly above average, but unfortunately, it takes a while to be truly Neapolitan. Good pizza, enjoyed. Friendly and attentive service.

The pizza was average; I remembered it much better, and the cuoppo seemed reheated. The place is small and quite noisy, and service is a bit slow, with a lot of people circulating between the tables or waiting at the register for takeout. I'm not thrilled that the pizza comes from a kitchen at the back of the place and isn't visible.

Three of us went for dinner. We called shortly beforehand and were immediately told we could walk in without a problem. The place is easy to find. Inside, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a Neapolitan restaurant. We ordered appetizers and pizzas, and everything was delicious. Recommended.

It's hard to find a good pizza in Cesena. The prices are good and the dough is tasty. I really appreciated the ingredients, especially the tomato sauce. Definitely worth a try.
