In the charming village of Porto San Paolo, overlooking the eastern coast of Sardinia (the port, with its charming little square, is on the sea), there's a secret fountain where, who knows (including me), people go to refill their water. Just yesterday, in a car packed to the brim, there was a beautiful lady I recognized: she served me dinner at this restaurant I'd never been to before. So off I go, in the cool of the evening, sitting at a table, while the chef wanders among the diners (I recognize him by the white hat on his head and because he resembles the brother I met at a local festival...). We order: mussels, spaghetti with clams, fregola with seafood, Gallura soup. I, quite exceptionally, also order a Fanta, while the others get cold beers. She arrives, but the mistake is quickly corrected, and the order is placed for another table. We laugh as the mussels arrive, delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked in a tomato sauce. Truly delicious, the king of the dish: can you hear the applause in the background? The dessert is a lemon sorbet that tickles the palate and prepares for rest. A side note: a guest at the table from Brazil, upon seeing the Gallura soup, made a swirl of her eyes, almost falling into my plate: "But wasn't it a soup???" Yes, I replied, but Gallura... Decided to eat purceddu found this place that made it for at least three people. Excellent and abundant food...

We ate fish... appetizers... soups... fried foods and side dishes .. everything was excellent... clearly the price is not super convenient, but every now and then it can be done

The Lu Stangu restaurant has good accessibility: the wheelchair adapted quite well to the spaces and the environment was overall comfortable and welcoming, which is always appreciable. The staff was courteous and helpful, but unfortunately the culinary offering did not meet my personal tastes. I don't question the quality of the ingredients, but I prefer a different cooking style, more similar to my preferences. However, I recognize the commitment of the structure and the pleasant environment. It can be a good choice for those who appreciate that type of cuisine.

Original, national, friendly, competent, popular, inexpensive!!! Absolutely not a tourist rip-off. Highly recommended if you want to get to know the country and its people.

Nice restaurant with super friendly staff. Food (pizza) was excellent. Pana Cota and Tiramisu, is highly recommended.
