Very good Italian snacks, delicious coffee. We really enjoyed a great meal of delicious Italian products and drank delicious Italian coffee for a small price. :) I highly recommend it. It's in the center of Matera, where you can really find something delicious to eat and relax while sightseeing. Great service!

The central location, in the vicinity of the Basilica of San Francesco, which offers a beautiful view. The varied offer of pastries, the grandmother's coffee for Italy, the service on the other hand left much to be desired after we said that we had vouchers from the accommodation, as if they were doing us a favor. The dirty windows at the entrance were also unsightly, which matched the carelessness displayed by the staff.

01/10/2025: We had some lunch here and it topped all of our expectations!! The food was amazing and the vibe was just perfect (They also have the famous matera bread which is a must try when you are here). The guy that helped us was really nice and helpful in every way he could, he was even teaching us some fun facts about cork screws :). The view of this place is unmatched and it goes hand in hand with the relaxed vibe that the place holds. When we were eating here it really felt like time stopped. After a bit the cat of the owner came to say hello to us and ended up sitting in my lap🥰 such an adorable fur ball (i called it giuseppe). Would give it 10 stars if i could! Highly recommended!
17/08/2025: Love this historic place that is owned by locals! The food was delicious and drinks were cold. Antonio is genuine and personable. Serving up fresh food and family history. It's a great stop for a snack or lunch

15/08/2025: The atmosphere and location were very nice, as were the staff and the service, which was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good. Many dishes were sold out (the tripe and the fusilli). The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses also included other dishes (all potato-based): stewed fava beans, cruschi peppers, followed by cavatelli with cherry tomatoes and ricotta cheese, and cavatelli with breadcrumbs. The pasta was overcooked and I think precooked. It must have been a bad day. The prices are absolutely not high.
