We visited the Lounge Café for breakfast, having been directed there by the hotel. It's a classic, typically Italian breakfast—simple, fresh, and delicious. It's not a culinary revelation or an otherworldly experience, but overall it's decent and enjoyable. The place serves its purpose: a quick, light breakfast, good coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. Very good Italian snacks, delicious coffee. We really enjoyed a great meal of delicious Italian products and drank delicious Italian coffee for a small price. :) I highly recommend it. It's in the center of Matera, where you can really find something delicious to eat and relax while sightseeing. Great service!

16/12/2025: Excellent, very light pizza. If you visit Matera, you must dine at this pizzeria. Besides the delicious pizza, they also serve pucce, exceptional aperitifs, and much more, even for breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially the owners. Definitely worth a try.

(photo) Excellent food, from the fine Roman-style pizzas, perfectly cooked in a wood-fired oven and made with quality ingredients, to the excellent fish and meat. Tonight I had lemon tagliolini with delicious red shrimp tartare (photo) and a Neapolitan-style mussel soup with octopus, shrimp, and scampi with crostini, excellent. My son always orders the Fassona Beef Battita, beautiful and delicious! (photo) Beautiful place, both inside and out. The terrace has a breathtaking view of the surrounding villages. The wine list is also extensive and includes quality cellars. Really good prices for what you eat and drink. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for both a family outing and a romantic dinner.
24/08/2025: Beautiful location, good food, adequate pizza, small portions for the price. The service was informal and inattentive. Bread never arrived at our table. We struggled to get the waiters' attention, despite the fact that there was no confusion. The sliced ​​steak was good, but the potatoes almost never arrived, and we were served 4. The mixed grill had too much pork and was really small; luckily it was for my wife, I should have eaten 2. Pizza scaletta and biscottata.
