The place is somewhat reminiscent of the Vulcano café at Un Posto al Sole, which certainly doesn't live up to the food and service standards. For starters, we had a tartare, excellent and generous even if lightly seasoned, and gorgonzola and walnut vol-au-vents, perhaps the least interesting of the selection. For starters, we had risotto and agnolotti. The agnolotti were well-made and seasoned without skimping on butter and sage, but the real surprise was the Barbera risotto, freshly prepared and flavored with braised beef stock or something similar (perhaps brown stock), perfectly cooked and exceptionally flavorful. It's worth a visit for this dish alone. The second course of the day was a strange choice: chicken curry. It must have been excellent, given the chef's skill, but honestly, I expected a more traditional dish. For dessert, we had delightful coconut and mascarpone balls. Good house wine and fast and courteous service, certainly spending less than the overall value of the dinner, if you are in the area do not miss the opportunity to visit the ostu, and try their risotto

A small but welcoming place. The menu is good and typical of Piedmontese tradition; there's not a lot of variety: five appetizers, two first courses, and a second course. Personally, this isn't a negative; in fact, I'd say this is a successful example of "few but good."

A typical restaurant, small but very quaint. The staff are very friendly, cheerful, and reasonably quick. The dishes are few, but very well prepared, with attention to detail and generous portions at reasonable prices. Excellent value. Attention to detail. Homemade desserts.

Osteria in the historic center of Villa San Secondo. We ordered the mixed appetizers, especially the veal with tuna sauce, the pesto lasagna, and the lemon scallops, which were good but a bit thick for our taste. The hazelnut cake was also very good.

It's like being at home...
A family atmosphere, simple yet refined, friendly and knowledgeable.
The food is always spectacular... Dishes that appear simple, but are surprising and meticulously crafted. Luisella, in the kitchen, in the dining room, at the counter, is number one.
