L'osteria DI Delizie E Curiosita' In Prepotto

A location with a breathtaking view, a well-maintained atmosphere. Homemade, excellently prepared products. Good service. What can I say? If you're visiting the Sanctuary of Castelmonte (UD), this warm and welcoming osteria/bar is worth a visit.

It had been years since I had been to Castelmonte. I remembered the lady who sold carob beans, fruit, sweets, and gadgets, up the little hill that leads to the church. We noticed this restaurant owned by the lady who sold the carob beans. We had an excellent strudel, and we met the lady who spoke of times gone by and of all the sacrifices she had made. She is still working, still lively, but it's a lovely little place. Bye, Aldo.

Lunch around 2 pm on a summer Sunday, outdoors, sheltered from the traffic. A succulent, stringy frico with a side of fresh mushrooms. It's in an excellent location near the castle, with public parking nearby.

I tried the autumn menu, and as always, it's a sure thing. I recommend booking, especially on weekends. The wait is more than worth it, thanks to the quality of the products. Finding places where food isn't pre-cooked these days is increasingly difficult. Recommended! Friendly and helpful staff.

Great space for an aperitif on the terrace and super staff

Beautiful outdoor terrace, the dishes are tasty and plentiful. The wine by the glass wasn't exactly up to par, so we ordered a bottle. There was a surprise at the final bill: the potato side dish, which was included in the price, was charged separately, even though the waitress had assured us it was part of the menu. So be careful what they charge.
