But Eataly Italia is a refined delicatessen, not cheap but affordable, with exceptional meat selections, a very interesting fish section, and a truly comprehensive bread section. The best thing, however, is the enormous window overlooking the sea, where you can enjoy a coffee or soft drink for €3-4 while admiring a breathtaking view, with efficient but unobtrusive service. What more could you want?

Note: I’m reviewing the Eataly store only, as I haven’t eaten at their restaurant yet.
Great looking store that carries specialty foods. On the pricier side, but they carry items other stores don’t have. My second time here, I plan to stop by every time I’m in Trieste.

As we travelled through Slovenia, we took the opportunity to visit Trieste… what a beautiful harbour! We decided to eat at Eataly 🍽️
With a view of the harbour, a stunning sunset, and delicious food, the evening was perfect.
We enjoyed:
• Fish tartare
• A burger
• Baby octopus 🐙
• A seabass dish
All dishes were excellent
five stars to the chef 👩🍳
But last, and certainly not least… our waitress Mariane. What a delight!
Always smiling, so kind, very helpful… truly a beautiful heart.
She is an example for everyone working in hospitality. A thousand stars ⭐️

Very nice place both for shopping for various products (from groceries and fish to pizza, chocolates and wine) and for a meal or a coffee.
We got canoli siciliani and cappuccino and were quite satisfied.
I think the prices were quite low for both the location and the quality.
Definitely worth a stop for anyone in the area to try local flavors.

The pizzas are spectacular! The only thing we didn't like is that they charged us €2.50 for a cover, something that's no longer used and is simply a money-grubbing dish. It's perfect for eating and taking a stroll.

I'd never been inside Eataly. I know the history and had the opportunity to hear, even in person, founder Oscar Farinetti speak. A fascinating story, full of determination and love for tradition. In Trieste, you can have a coffee, practically inside the port.
An experience worth trying.

The food is good, the pizza is delicious 🍕 but the service isn't very pleasant. Although the location by the port is amazing, the service makes for a poor atmosphere.

Anyone looking for half-filled, dry toast at high prices will find it at the La Piazza restaurant in Eataly. Everything is mediocre... the service is uninspired...
