L'Osteria del Siciliano In Mascalucia

We had dinner at this osteria; the place is truly beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food is also good; you can taste the attention paid to the choice of ingredients. That said, there were some aspects that left me perplexed. The prices are decidedly high, especially considering it's an osteria, where one would normally expect a better value and more generous portions. I had read negative reviews about the staff, but I found them friendly and helpful. Overall, a very nice place, but they need to reconsider their prices and portions to truly offer an osteria experience, in the truest sense of the word.

Very nice restaurant. One of the best meals I've ever had!

The atmosphere is lovely, very Sicilian in style, but the temperature is a bit chilly. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the portions are really small. In a restaurant with this name, you expect more Sicilian-style dishes, even in size. The mixed grill was on the children's menu; the side dish was on the side, unlike other places we've been. At that price, you can't afford to have three pieces of meat and potatoes on the side. The glass of wine was very small at 6 euros. Honestly, the prices are overpriced and the portions are small. This is why they work more with foreigners. The table service and table setting were very dignified and elegant. A pleasant place, but very expensive. "Osteria del Siciliano" isn't a name that reflects its true character.

The food and service were wonderful! It was the first time I tried lobster and it was tender and tasty. The place is intimate and quiet, I went on a day when it was not crowded. I also received wine on the house.

If you're looking for a moment of absolute pleasure and conviviality, I recommend this place, where you can enjoy excellent dishes in a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly. An experience worth repeating.

Delicious lunch: pansotti pasta and risotto

Everything was excellent, from the location to the food. Even though I'm a vegetarian, there was a wide selection. Miss Ornella was kind, courteous, and professional. We'll be back and bring our friends.

Everything good and a nice atmosphere

Locale carino, rustico, trascorso una giornata Con amici. Cibo nella media, purtroppo si sono approfittati sugli antipasti che hanno esagerato dandogli carta libera , avendo un peso sullo scontrino non hanno consigliato su quantità e costi, tra l’altro nemmeno di qualità, ad esempio le due portate di tris di funghi di 60,00 euro ciascuno, erano senza sapore ed infatti li abbiamo lasciati tutti ! Personale maleducato ed irritante . Es . “Scusate invece di stare su Instagram prenotate? “ Conto salatissimo e nonostante l’errore di un piatto, non hanno risolto ed hanno esclamato così : “Se vuole glielo faccio rifare e questo glielo metto da portare via !” Ovviamente dopo le discussioni e l’arroganza, non lo hanno tolto dal conto e parliamo di errore loro. Un conto da 700,00 ( 11 persone ) Senza mangiare esageratamente ! Da evitare assolutamente, lo sconsiglio vivamente , ci sono molti locali dove si paga molto meno e la qualità è prettamente superiore . Buon pranzo/cena a tutti, spero di esserci utile .

Nous n’avions pas réservé et le restaurant était complet. Cependant et très gentiment les équipes nous ont proposé une table dans l’attente de leurs prochains clients qui arrivaient 1 h après ! Nous avons accepté et choisi la viande proposée par la serveuse ( qui parle un peu le français ) . Parfait et copieux. Inutile de prendre les patates . Celles dans l’assiette avec légumes sont suffisantes. Très bon vin que nous avons pris au verre . Desserts gourmands A aucun moment ont nous a montré qu’il fallait partir .
