I've read negative reviews, but for me the experience was positive. We ate well, the service was very basic but pleasant, the restaurant is rustic and mountain-style, and the owners and staff are kind and polite. We didn't spend much, so I'm fine with that. Much better than getting robbed at Michelin-starred restaurants. We'll be back.

We went there at 12:20 and asked if we could eat. They told us they didn't have room until 1:30, and to come back later. Since it was about to rain, and we couldn't wait in the middle of the street, we went to the bakery and pastry shop across the street. We were pleasantly surprised; it was a delicious place where they made us an excellent focaccia with typical local cheese and cured meats, as well as a bag of delicious sweets. Instead of going to the restaurant, it might be worth going to the bakery across the street.

We visited this restaurant, initially for a drink, during a multi-day cycling trip. Arriving on a Sunday, it was the only one open, and despite the end of the season, the owner agreed to serve us a meal. A big thank you to this gentleman; he really helped us out. I highly recommend this friendly place. P.S.: I hope he reads this review. "Thank you again, sir." 😉

15/04/2025: We are in Sampeyre to evaluate whether to continue coming or... choose another holiday destination. Today is Tuesday and it's raining... damn, will we find a quiet place to have lunch? We try calling and they immediately answer us in a friendly and familiar manner; Nicoletta come too, we'll be waiting for you. We find friendly people, the environment is very nice, well-kept and warm. On the walls are beautiful photos of the town as it was in ancient times. The food is fresh, plentiful and excellent. Bresaola rolls Penne with cherry tomatoes (fresh) and basil Capocollo and chips, all washed down with a quarter of wine. Cake and coffee. Quick lunch, chosen from a very varied menu. We spent the right amount... Mrs. CATIA and her husband are very friendly and good-natured people. I wasn't looking for anything else. I don't know about you!!! Don't go too many, otherwise there won't be room left for us!!!!!! 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉

14/07/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, and I must say the staff welcomed us right away, even though we hadn't booked. We ordered pizza and desserts, and everything was delicious. I recommend anyone in the area to try it. See you soon.
