A really great experience. Outside of the really touristic area of Florence, this place has a great local feeling. The food is incredible, and very well priced. All our dishes were 10/10 with a special mention for the gnocchi and the tartare. The wine list is simple and great and again very well priced. Service was friendly, atmosphere was top. A must go.

Historic restaurant in Florence. Revisited Tuscan cuisine. Excellent service and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. There were two of us and we ordered two different first and second courses. They were all excellent. It's a shame about the dessert. I only had a cold cheesecake, which was honestly awful; the biscuit actually looked like it had gone bad. I foolishly didn't mention this to the staff, who I think would have definitely rectified it. A shame. The prices are fair.

The cuisine was excellent, the pigeon with its exquisite pâté, the fried tongue exceptional. All the dishes were carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The service was a bit sterile and unfriendly; being used to the friendliness of Florentines, one might be a bit disappointed, but the excellent food is worth the visit.

What can I say... a great discovery!! Excellent dishes made with quality ingredients. Excellent wine list. Very friendly staff. A refined atmosphere and a "pleasant surprise."

We tried out this place while touring Italy. We weren't super hungry so ate light, and had the vegetarian items. Loved the pumpkin risotto, and mushroom gnocchi. Enjoyed the house red also.

TOP experience.
I've been there several times during my stay in Florence, and I can confirm that it was hands-down the best place I've eaten.
Between the Florentine steak, the biscotti, and the recommendations from the waiters (always friendly and welcoming), I can only say: GO TRY IT BECAUSE IT'S WORTH IT!
