I had high expectations but doubts about the tourist area as the level of restaurants in the center of Florence is becoming very bad due to overtourism therefore photocopy menus with tomato soup and steak everywhere, often also of poor quality. But no! Nice place and attentive and never intrusive staff, refined menu and high-level restaurant dishes; quality ingredients never combined in a banal way. I ate a cube starter of pork belly in soy sauce and a spectacular duck breast on savoy cabbage and orange sauce. My vegetarian wife had an excellent mushroom tarte tatin on parmesan fondue. Wine list up to par. Medium-high prices but correct for the level of food.

Let me start by saying that I am Florentine and I have frequented many restaurants, I ordered a cuddle to split between 2, a "Florentine" steak with 2 side dishes of potatoes and a bottle of wine (the least expensive on the menu).
The food was more than enough, but there was a very serious problem with the steak: I asked for it to be 1.3 kg... it wasn't even brought to my table before being cooked. The steak didn't have a bad taste but it was low, about a finger and a half high (under 3 fingers it's carpaccio), there was little fat which is the most enjoyable thing about steaks...and last but not least the fillet was practically absent...in short, unsuitable meat (a small steak).
We spent €124 between 2 and for that amount there is much better in Florence, I say this as a Florentine.

Absolute top class in all categories. The best restaurant I have known in Florence for years. Everything is just right here. Top-quality food, first-class service, wonderful ambience, pleasant noise. And the special highlight for architectural aesthetes: the toilet.

Excellent dishes and super quality of raw materials.
The meat, a true excellence but no less the first courses.
If we were to return to Florence we will not fail to come and visit you.

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. Special and refined dishes. I highly recommend the agnolotti, I dream about them at night, the same goes for the duck.
