Spending an evening at Hans's Garden was the best choice we could have made. The hostess is a true force of nature, kind and thoughtful like few others I've met in my entire life. The location is unforgettable, as is the interior. The food is excellent, and the service impeccable. The fact that between courses, rather than resting a bit, she took the time to light the wood-burning stove behind us even though it wasn't really necessary, was truly appreciated. Everything was wonderful, and the value for money is truly excellent. If I could, I'd return every day. Go as soon as you can, and I assure you, you'll want to return whenever you can. 10 out of 5 stars

A positive experience, characterized by the property's excellent location, absolute tranquility, especially at night, and an excellent breakfast with locally sourced products, including cakes and pastries baked on-site. The only criticism that led me to give the service only 3 stars is the timed heating in the room, which only works from 8:30 PM to 11:30 AM and from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM (approximately, I hope I remembered correctly). In the cold season, at least a minimally comfortable temperature should be guaranteed at night. Luckily, at least there were more blankets on the bed.

An organic agriturismo nestled in the greenery of Tuscia, nestled in a beautiful valley among olive and hazelnut trees. The restaurant is tastefully furnished and surrounded by a well-kept garden and, of course, the vegetable garden that gives the place its name. It's ideal for those seeking a relaxing meal away from the hustle and bustle.
This agriturismo's specialty is its culinary offerings. Despite being located in the heart of the Viterbo area, it's famous for its canederli (dumplings). Prices are average, and the service is good.

L'Orto di Hans is the ideal destination for a lunch that reconnects with the world. The food is top-notch, the prices are fair, and the location is enchanting. It's the place to bring your loved ones or family for a special day.

A paradise in the tranquility of Tuscia! A charming place, welcoming staff, authentic cuisine that preserves tradition while also embracing innovation. Letizia, the owner, is the real highlight: kind and welcoming, she opens the doors of her home to you and makes you feel right at home. An experience I highly recommend. Whenever we want to escape the city, we retreat to Orto di Hans and return feeling refreshed!

A beautiful location.
Refined and well-kept atmosphere with rustic country tones.
We tried typical Alto Adige food, which you wouldn't expect to be so good in the Tuscia area of Viterbo.

I had lunch at this agriturismo with my partner and my one-year-old son. We had a wonderful time, from the food to the staff to the location. Freshly baked bread and pizza, legume soups, ragù, stew—everything was mouth-watering. The chestnut tart was the icing on the cake.
We also loved the large spaces; our child was able to play in a corner of the restaurant while we ate. Right after lunch, we went for a walk in the beech forest 🧡🍂
