My friend and I stopped by by chance and had a great time. We had breakfast there. They have brioches and other artisanal pastries, very good and delicate in flavor. I've eaten a lot of vegan brioches, so I have to say they're really light and have a wide variety of fillings. It's nice to see that there are 100% plant-based places around that are just as good as the traditional ones. Plus, the staff was really kind. 😍

The pastries were nice but I was expecting a bit more since the descriptions were more exciting than the experience.
I am confident that the rest of the menu is likely wonderful as my husbands pasta was delicious, without a doubt!
The russian salad was not good at all and I should've ordered something else for sure. I was sadly also disappointed with the Pistacchietto as it was mostly cream rather than a dessert with substance.
The service was extremely friendly and the seating outside was idyllic.

Excellent Vegan options for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The owner is super friendly and help you in spanish, english and italian!
Recommended: dessert called "pistacchietto"

A small establishment with a spacious terrace and a simple but interesting vegan menu. Good food at affordable prices. Exquisite service from owner and chef Eduardo Ferrante, who introduced us to his other establishment (L'Orto Già Salsamentario) at Via Monferrato, 14, with a more extensive menu and excellent value dishes.

Delicious breakfast! Perfect if you're lactose intolerant or vegan... but truly delicious for everyone! The fragrant brioches with Chantilly cream and pistachios were truly delicious! The icing on the cake (but not at all obvious) was the kindness and extreme friendliness of the staff!

I had a lovely lunch sitting in the piazza. I had the farinata (a type of savoury pancake made with chickpea flour, leeks and onions) which was excellent, with the red cabbage salad. I was delighted to see a gluten free tiramisù. The savoiardi biscuits were well soaked in a delicious coffee but a bit grainy. Very enjoyable though😃

We chose OrtoBistrot to celebrate our wedding with friends and family, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The aperitif buffet was excellent, with a variety of dishes that were beautiful to look at and delicious to eat, and everyone loved them. Special thanks to Eduardo, the owner, who was a wonderful person and incredibly helpful in accommodating our every need. We highly recommend this place and can't wait to return! 🥰

A lucky find in the heart of Turin.
There was a café there on a weekday morning, but not overcrowded.
Quiet spot, so you can sit comfortably outside.
Very large selection of alternative products (gluten-free, milk substitutes).
Reasonable price, portions are relatively small, but inviting to enjoy. 😋
Clean restrooms. 👍
