Chosen without any prior knowledge, on instinct, this lovely osteria, just steps from the Church of San Pietro in Assisi, turned out to be a very pleasant gastronomic surprise. Truffle strangozzi followed by grilled lamb are substantial dishes, and although challenging, they were easily digested without hesitation, thanks to the addition of a white Grechetto, which I know is easy to drink. The service was friendly, courteous, and efficient. The price was fair; what more can I say? We'll definitely be back.

The place is a bit old-fashioned but has its charm, the waitress is very kind and friendly and the aubergines, baked potatoes, strangozzi with truffle and maltagliati with leek and white ragù were simply superb!

07/09/2025: We went without a reservation on a Sunday for lunch. They were busy, but they still found a way to accommodate us. Fast service, excellent food.

The food is high-quality, though not abundant, and the staff is young and courteous. A small parking lot offers views of the valley below. Suitable for functions such as birthday parties, weddings, first communions, and confirmations. Tables are suitable for small or large groups, or at least adaptable. Given the restaurant's altitude, a light jacket is recommended, even in summer. In winter, it may be difficult to reach due to snow or ice.
