L'Orecchietta In Candela

A unique place, full of refined details, good food, excellent location for travelers.

We visited L'Orecchietta, a truly unique restaurant-museum located at the Candela highway junction, and we were thrilled! The ambiance is meticulously crafted, with a vintage feel that makes it unique and welcoming, almost like a journey back in time. The menu features traditional Apulian dishes, cooked with great attention to quality. The orecchiette al tegamino were exceptional, rich in flavor and perfectly creamed. The local meat also deserves a special mention: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. An ideal place for those who love authentic cuisine and unique atmospheres. We'll definitely be back!

It's definitely a place where you can admire precious antiques that welcome you and accompany you through all the rooms. It's a very unique location that certainly lives up to its name! My wife, our young son, and I stopped in for a break, and I'm sorry I can't give it a good rating for the service and food. Unfortunately, I have to say that despite being welcomed well, we waited at least 15 minutes at the register before being shown to our table, and then we went alone. The food wasn't what we expected! I repeat, I'm disappointed because once we were seated, they tried to serve us as quickly as possible, and we certainly found ourselves in a difficult situation where there were only two people to welcome and serve all the people arriving and looking for a little refreshment! At the end of lunch, we finally found another person at the register to take care of the service. I had two people in front of me paying, and when it was my turn, the employee decided to make us wait a little longer to take some souvenir photos. A terrible choice! It's unthinkable to run a restaurant like that in such a strategic location! When we find ourselves having to travel again, passing through Candela and perhaps thinking about stopping for lunch at RistoMuseo again, I hope we'll find a different kind of attraction there!! Excellent, spectacular platters, shame about the dessert not being up to par....excellent service...very fast and kind...standard prices............maybe it would be better to place a road sign at the motorway exit......because the road is not very clear

Well-kept place in farmhouse style with a nice museum section Quick business lunch just over €50 for a starter of cold cuts and cheeses and 2 second courses of grilled chicken in tagliata style Average portions and well prepared, the place has a large parking lot and can be reached in a few minutes from the Candela exit

You eat well but........ To pay the bill you need financing

Convenient location to reach, clean rooms, restaurant with typical dishes cooked really well. Very kind staff and owner.

Excellent typical restaurant with reasonable prices

When I pass through to go and come back from the south it is now a fixed stop because it is located at the Candela toll booth exit. Excellent typical local cuisine, very kind staff, normal portions. Ample free parking.
