Quick lunch stop before departure towards Piedmont. I decided to stop at this small place, in the center of Modena, specializing in crescentine! The environment is very small, crowded, few seats. On the counters there are historical references to crescentine. They are cooked freshly, with the possibility of choosing between traditional and wholemeal dough. You can choose small or large in size. The list of fillings proposed by the owners is very long, but you can opt for any customization. I chose the crescentina of the day, wholemeal dough, with pastrami, caramelized onion, tomato and rocket: crazy! I loved it, an explosion of flavours, all expertly balanced. Although generous in size, I was still a little hungry. I opted for a more traditional small crescentina with lard pesto, raw ham, rocket. This is also excellent. In total I spent about ten euros. I will definitely be back! Best crescentina eaten so far!

I ordered „the boss“ Sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. Super delicous and quality ingredients. The Lady was super friendly and I enjoyed my Sandwich in Front of the Store outside.

Io non ho mai mangiato una tigella/ crescientina ma dopo quel pranzo me ne sono innamorato , vi consiglio in particolare la nostromo composta da tonno, mozzarella, pomodoro e insalata. Ve lo consiglio assolutamente se volete mangiare un piatto tipico a Modena e passare un bel pranzo con la vostra famiglia.
