In the university street you couldn't miss the crescent (Tigella for those who didn't understand) A P.A.T. product important in Modena… There are a couple of tables outside. Super friendly staff. Huge menu.

Nice concept, nice place located on the street with several pubs and frequented a lot by young people. Friendly staff. Good ingredients and tigelle. In my opinion it's a bit expensive, and paying €8.50 for a tigella, even if it's 15cm and stuffed, seems excessive to me, at which point I personally add a few euros more and go and eat a nice stuffed pizza! However, they also have smaller and cheaper options. It's okay if you're hungry for a snack between beers.

Excellent tigelle, filled properly and with a varied choice of quality ingredients. Very honest prices and friendly staff, just pay attention to the lard which makes them unsuitable for vegetarians and vegans

Quick lunch stop before departure towards Piedmont. I decided to stop at this small place, in the center of Modena, specializing in crescentine! The environment is very small, crowded, few seats. On the counters there are historical references to crescentine. They are cooked freshly, with the possibility of choosing between traditional and wholemeal dough. You can choose small or large in size. The list of fillings proposed by the owners is very long, but you can opt for any customization. I chose the crescentina of the day, wholemeal dough, with pastrami, caramelized onion, tomato and rocket: crazy! I loved it, an explosion of flavours, all expertly balanced. Although generous in size, I was still a little hungry. I opted for a more traditional small crescentina with lard pesto, raw ham, rocket. This is also excellent. In total I spent about ten euros. I will definitely be back! Best crescentina eaten so far!
