Nice surprise during the trip, lunch at this restaurant. Basic but welcoming environment. Friendly staff. Fish baae dishes that are decidedly unexpected for a restaurant in those places. It's worth the stop. Very recommended.

We stopped for lunch just off the highway. The location of the place is really happy. Very convenient at the Civitella exit, ample parking and the room also enjoys a panoramic view. The staff were very kind, punctual and smiling (even towards the children). But the real strong point of the restaurant are the dishes! We tasted fish dishes and they were all delicious, made with care and skill (the drunken octopus are truly special). The desserts are also remarkable. Right portions and super honest prices. We didn't try the pizza but I noticed that they use a high quality flour for the dough. Excellent restaurant, absolutely worth visiting!

I ate very well in this restaurant, the girl who served us was very kind and the owner was also really friendly. I highly recommend the panna cotta with berries, I have never tasted so good!

We had lunch there today and were very satisfied. The seafood salad and bruschetta with new olive oil from Pari was very good. I just wish the bread wasn't toasted too hot and had charred streaks from the rust. The spaghetti alle vongole was very tasty, but the “caserecce” was unfortunately a bit bland and meaningless. The dessert, tartuffo, was wonderful and so was the café. The service was very friendly and accommodating, although it would have been even better if we had salt and pepper at the table. All in all, we felt very comfortable and ate well and will definitely come back.

17/01/2025: The place is welcoming... it's a tavern where time has stopped! The staff is very kind and empathetic. The dishes offered are of a high standard, for the quality of the raw materials and for the skilful art of the cook, who mainly prepares traditional Maremma dishes with great care. We ate an extraordinary farmer's appetizer (asparagus, green beans and artichokes in vinegar, bruschetta, cold cuts and cheeses with honey and blackberry jam) and the pappardelle with Cinta Senese ragù and those with wild boar ragù, both delicious. The cut with garlic and rosemary did not surprise us. The papalina cake was really very good. We came back and... this time too we ate very well! The Pantalla bruschettas are delicious, the cold cuts are extraordinary, the pappardelle with Cinta Senese ragù are delicious and the pici alla carbonara are delicious! We also loved the tozzetti with vin santo! Worth an inspection!
09/11/2024: We had a farmer's appetizer for two and for the quantity and quality of the food it was already enough to close the dinner. I ordered the wild boar with buglione with sautéed chicory and my husband pici with garlic, finishing with an Etruscan bitter and a nocino. Kindness, courtesy and genuineness washed down with Morellino di Scansano at a modest price. Very satisfied.

26/01/2025: The stage is simple, informal, so much so that the ones who need to stand out are the actors... and once the curtain opens, food and wine exalt the audience exhilarating in form, taste, and quality... the chef Claudia and the owner of the the very nice Maria room, they know well how to make diners dream.... Here the culinary journey enriches your heart and caresses your soul... an experience lived three times... when you dream it, when you live it, when you remember it ... Dishes that leave their mark such as cod with a touch of lemon on chickpea puree ... octopus briao, gnocchi with artichokes and sea bass ... the king "raw" ... with a tuna that has no equal.. I'm amazed every time, they always manage to amaze me... thanks girls and... until the next dream... oops with eyes open...
26/01/2025: Nice and nice restaurant. Good food from first course to dessert (pistachio truffle the best!). Friendly staff. Castiglione della Pescaia is beautiful even in winter.
