It was a fabulous experience... we come from Turin, my wife and I were in Catania for work... and we came to them recommended on Thursday and Friday evening. The passion of the girl at the tables makes you feel the enthusiasm and love they put into it. And we found all this love in the dishes: they are one word FABULOUS. On the first day we had a fish soup, then paccheri with fish and almonds and then a fried food. The sauces were mixed together like on few occasions we have found. The desserts were also superlative. On the second day we varied with 3 other appetizers and a new first course of scialatelli always with fish, pine nuts etc. and then with a fish and eggplant skewer. Everything fabulous. Our compliments because we almost never write reviews but you made me think of Montalbano and how much he loved good Catania food. The food is very good, the portions are a bit small. My main criticism is the owner's availability, which leaves much to be desired.

Excellent "fish restaurant" with an original menu that combines tradition and innovation thanks to a very fresh and high quality catch. The menu is not written on a sheet of paper nor is it accessible with a Qr-code but is presented verbally with the help of a blackboard by a very kind and attentive lady. We had a great time and have already booked again for a second experience.

Excellent restaurant to eat at. It's certainly not cheap, but the quality and deliciousness of the food are worth it. Definitely worth a try! All the dishes we tried were delicious!

Abbiamo pranzato in questo magnifico ristorante insieme a dei nostri cari amici catanesi che lo frequentano abitualmente. Devo dire innanzitutto che la pulizia del locale è eccellente, con una cucina a vista dove puoi scorgere tutte le preparazioni dei vari piatti. Il servizio puntualissimo, anche nella descrizione dei piatti e degli elementi. Il titolare e chef è stato molto cordiale, preparatissimo, affabile e gentile; si vede che è molto appassionato del proprio lavoro, ci ha illustrato i vini con dovizia di particolari, per non parlare dell'eccellente amaro che ci ha fatto degustare. Passando ai piatti devo dire di averli trovati molto originali, come le cozze al gorgonzola (alla Belga) ed il carciofo fritto con un composto interno di calamari, delicato e nello stesso tempo pieno dei sapori degli elementi che lo componevano. Anche i crudi presi da mia figlia erano freschissimi. Per non parlare del primo al nero di seppia (foto), a dir poco eccellente ed abbondante. Vino grillo naturale molto buono, e per niente pesante. Il conto l'ho trovato giusto, considerando i prezzi di oggi e la qualità del pesce. Consigliatissimo
