Lodenwirt Hotel Ristorante Pizzeria In Vandoies

The entrance to the restaurant looks a bit strange since it is also a hotel. First impression was not ideal as it smelled like a toilet test. I was initially given a seat in the entrance area, where it was quite drafty, and the menu was striking in its abundance. When ordering I politely asked if I could get another table. The waitress was very friendly and offered me a new seat that was much more pleasant. The pizza was exceptionally crispy and had an interesting taste. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting and warm. The affogato cafe was excellent, and the additional €1.50 for the place setting is justified due to the high quality cloth napkins. A small downer is the restaurant's tenant, who reacts quite aggressively to negative reviews. However, this is his personal nature and business, so how he handles criticism is ultimately up to him.

Excellent both as a restaurant and as a pizzeria, very welcoming place and space but the highlight is the service, fast and impeccable. Prices in line with the quality offered.

We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Lodenwirt. The friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy. All employees always had a smile on their faces and were always attentive and helpful (especially the waiter Matthias, who impressed us with his top service on the last evening). We were also pleasantly surprised that we received the South Tyrol Pass for our stay, which allows free use of public transport and entry to various museums. Food great! Bicycle garage sloping, disorganized and too small. Breakfast was quite cluttered and disorganized at times. The mega spotlights in front of the hotel are annoying. Very disturbing when sleeping. As are the streets in front and behind. Follow up: The hotel's reaction now says even more about the hotel than one would wish.
