love from Tokyo this is note to self; visited around 3pm on Wednesday ,17 Sep, 2025. with 2 sons(6 and 5yrs old) Really surprising their style. Everything we ordered was lovely taste - they use local fine ingredients and good at taking full advantages of original flavor of each ingredients. thanks to well balanced amount of oil, it's not as heavy for the stomach as other Napolitan restaurant's food.(they're good though) and I truely re-learned how flavor of tomato(piennolo?) is beautiful. MUST GO PLACE after enjoying view from castel Sant' Elmo. Many thanks for the kindness and being a part of precious memory of our journey in Napori! Lots of love to all staffs in Locantina!!!

Abbiamo pranzato in questa trattoria intima e accogliente, nascosta tra i vicoletti del Vomero, a pochi passi dal Castello Sant’Elmo. L’atmosfera è fresca e rilassata, perfetta per un pranzo tranquillo. Il menù è in continuo aggiornamento, con proposte stagionali che valorizzano ingredienti freschi e di qualità. Ogni piatto è curato e ben presentato. Il servizio è gentile anche se non impeccabile. Unica piccola pecca: non servono caffè a fine pasto, cosa un po’ insolita ma non troppo grave. In ogni caso, un’ottima esperienza che consiglio.

Small canteen found randomly far from tourist restaurants. A very warm welcome and Neapolitan cuisine which enchanted us. The bill was more than reasonable. I recommend!!
