A very welcoming restaurant serving authentic, local produce. The cuisine is homemade and traditionally prepared by Antonella, who is truly excellent. Her husband, Alfonso, and daughter, Maria, are friendly and helpful, and can also explain the dishes and ingredients. A highly recommended place for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine.

Scialapopolo Benevento is one of those discoveries that reconnects you with the pleasure of going out. The atmosphere is refined but never artificial, the staff welcoming with genuine kindness, and every dish tells a story of tradition and creativity. We're a psychedelic trip-hop duo from Milan. We played last night in Benevento and came here for lunch on Monday. The staff were very welcoming and the food was amazing, with a variety of vegetarian options. We'll definitely be back!

The Locanda is one of those typical, no-frills, family-run osterias where you can enjoy delicious traditional local dishes at very affordable prices. We enjoyed the delicious Beneventano cardone soup, highly recommended, and the truly flavorful meat. The restaurant seats a limited number of people, so reservations are recommended, but the owner is very kind and will try to accommodate even those who don't have a reservation. A must-try if you're in the area.

A typical, traditional Benevento restaurant. The welcome is so warm, you'll feel right at home. The food is clearly excellent. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Benevento. Kudos to the choreographer for her artistic choices.

30/12/2025: A place that feels like home. A historic restaurant in Benevento, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say "the restaurant" of Benevento. Simple cuisine, made with top-quality ingredients and a wealth of love and passion. It's been family-run for two generations, with an excellent wine list. In short, an excellent choice for lunch or dinner with family or friends.
28/12/2025: Sorry, service is inaccurate when the place is full. The dishes aren't all served at the same time, and the meat is overcooked. But be kind and friendly. It can happen.
