Everything was special, from the owner to his daughter. But being in a town I expected bigger portions. Just this! We paid €88 for two... NB The photo shows a typical dish. Plenty of potatoes and peppers, but what about the meat? It looked like an aperitif appetizer 😓

Come sempre ormai,siamo abituati ad andare a pranzo la domenica a questa locanda e il menù offriva un sacco di pietanze buonissime ma oggi volevo fare un pranzo tipico beneventano come antipasto, una buona parmigiana accompagnata con contorni una vera delizia,per primo una fantastica candela artigianale al ragù rustico e non potevo non finire con babà e caffè. Che dire come sempre la consiglio perché è unica con prodotti freschi e come sempre ottimi.

Ottimo cibo e proprietari gentilissimi. La cuoca è cordiale e disponibile il servizio veloce e il prezzo ottimo. Unico consiglio ci vuole un bel condizionatore grande xche all’interno fa caldo e fuori peggio😂comunque consiglio una sosta noi ci ritorneremo

First time in Benevento with friends, we are looking for a place to have lunch with typical local products and we come across the Scialapopolo inn. What can I say, superlative, as we returned the next day too, despite only staying for just 2 days! Let's start by talking about the owners, husband and daughter at the reception and service. The dishes on the menu, purely seasonal, are described with references to the culinary traditions of the past and their preparation... and you are already captivated. The food as a raw material is unsurpassed, not to mention the preparation, by the sweet wife, which surpasses any goodness and skill. How can you not appreciate local wine, so much so that you have to be careful when counting the bottles. All of them, in addition to being a wonderful family, are people who put their heart and love into the inn and you can see it in everything. They pamper you and make you feel part of a beautiful family, ready to always be there. The dishes do not leave you waiting, thanks to a skilful organization. It goes without saying that I will return, as soon as I can, to visit them, which have certainly become a favorite place for the food, but also for all of humanity, the honesty and exquisite kindness of these people who, with sacrifice and always with a smile, work to convey to customers that something that can't be bought... care and love in what they do, which is now very difficult to find.
