It's a shame we weren't able to taste the "borlenghi", which we took for granted were on the standard menu... good crescentine and tigelle (super pesto), the first courses were also good.

Recommended by a local friend, we went to this place in the historic center of the village of Guiglia, a typical restaurant of the Modenese Apennines, a family-style welcome, dynamic and courteous staff, excellent traditional cuisine with abundant dishes, a beautiful terrace overlooking the valley, all at a reasonable price

We had dinner at this inn one evening in August. It was all very good. I hope to return! The tigelle and fried gnocchi were delicious. The fried dumpling was not oily at all. The cold cuts were delicious. We had an encore of first courses, one better than the other. The ricotta and spinach tortelli with ragù were fantastic... I think it was clear that we were very satisfied. The service was excellent. The lady who served us was very kind and her colleague (the other waiter) was also very kind. The location is very simple and familiar. If you want to eat well and feel at home, go there at least once....

I revise my opinion positively after a so-so first evening, perhaps due to too much crowding. Lightly greasy and soft dumpling, good tigelle, soft and tasty roast and soft bill too. I recommend first courses and meat because tigelle and gnocco are served instead of bread

We had dinner with a menu of mixed cold cuts and cheeses (11€), tortellini in broth (10€). Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent quality/price ratio.
The terrace was a little hot and crowded.

Siamo andati su consiglio di una del luogo, ed eravamo in tanti su una bella terrazza panoramica : pranzo con menu prestabilito , tutto più che discreto, nulla di particolarmente buono , salvo il borlengo , ottimo ; servizio efficiente , stante i tanti commensali , da andarci in comitiva .

A vederlo da fuori sembra piccolo piccolo, poi in realtà c'è tutto un mondo dietro che culmina in una sala panoramica che da sulla pianura modenese, bello.
Menù territoriale, peccato che l'antipasto di salumi fosse veramente misero, non valeva il prezzo per cui abbiamo pagato, in compenso crecentine, in cui sono specializzati, ottime.
Buoni anche i tortellini con la panna e il cinghiale, il dolce, tiramisù, era anch'esso buono, ma ragazzi, preso e tirato nel piatto, non si poteva vedere, anche l'occhio vuole la sua parte!
